Hello, everyone.

I decided to buy some bitcoins finally to do little trading. I used a service in my country and they send me the BTC with a small fee. The bitcoin transition confirmed after 3 days (wtf)

So now I want to send my BTC from my wallet to poloniex but the fees are a lot. They are 40% of the amount which is a lot.

That happens because of the overload I understand but will it change? what is the normal fee? I feel like I'm stuck and too late to the game :0

That`s why there is no point buy $50 worth of bitcoin and send it from place to place, fees are high and small transactions takes long time to confirm.

buy 1 bit coin makes sence .

but bitcoin going up and down so be carefull.

Poloniex employs a volume-tiered, maker-taker fee schedule for all trades. For more information on our trading fees, visit the Fee Schedule page.
There are no fees for deposits. For withdrawals, there is a transaction fee required by each network as indicated on our withdrawal page. This is a network fee, not a Poloniex fee.

.
yes i get that the fee is not from poloniex
i am just asking if it will go down.. because 40% is too high

Shop around... Bittrex, Gemini, Bitstamp, Gdax, Bitfinex, Cex, OKcoin Etc...

Thanks for the post very much but I don't use coinbase.
There's really no point trading BTC if you are dabbling with so small amounts (I assume <$20)

Buy another currency like XVG or anything with low fees & exchange that for BTC on the exchange.

Exactly. How much you would like to earn on this trading? Calculate this with your small amount and you will see it's not worth it. If you have serious money than you could play. Better invest in another currency. Good luck!

Unfortunately this will only get worse. Bitcoin fees are going through the roof.

Today the fees are a lot of lower (because there is less traffic.) I think I am going to wait a while to drop a little more.

I want to buy another currency but from BTC. This was the only easy way to buy crypto for me wihbout bank/credit/debit card because I have issues with my bank acount. Also I plan to buy more I just want to get familiar with the process and the exchange. Next time I will put more money :)
Thanks for your anwers. :)
