YouTube Ranking Journey

Hi,
This will be my first journey, it will hopefully lead to greater things as I try to figure out YouTube and how the search engine works.

I have ranked videos previously, my best video ended up raking in $4k. That was along with a ranked website though. However, that's as far as I took that(Due to manual action, thanks Google). That was back in 2015 and I'm looking to rework my ideas to try overcome this beast known as YouTube.

My current video is in a rather competitive niche(no it's not a damn hack). I am using this niche because I know it'd be too easy to rank a low comp niche, so I'm setting myself a bit of a challenge.

My current rankings(Don't laugh)

They're all my money keywords, so I'd like to come close to the top of page 1 on all, if possible. If not I'll just make more videos and retarget.

What I've tried so far is HR views, likes, comments, shares and social signals. Clearly not working, but I'm going to try something new, which I'm not sure I'll reveal but we will see how it goes.

Currently talking to someone I know how ranks videos to monetize with CPI. Hopefully I can learn something from him. If I need to I'll reupload the video using new techniques.

Me too done some videos uploaded on 2015 but i cant work at the time due to some full time work. mostly i had 100+ accounts ( Bought it from BHW guy i dont remember him ).. hope will start my work soon may be 20eighteen.

I plan to build a brand this time, instead of having a tonne of shitty channels.

100+ accounts filled with ranked videos? That's quite a feat, or was it a set and forget kind of thing?

I got a $3 US lead, lucky perhaps but this journey isn't about earnings. Its about learning how to rank effectively.

I use to do Blackhat YouTube CPA when HR Views were an easy way to rank and made thousands. Still making some pocket change on autopilot (A few hundred a month) from my old videos. I think I was in one of your Skype/Discord groups, if I'm thinking of the right guy. Best of luck with your journey.

I don't think so, views are making sellers too much money for reseller to give up.

I think this journey is coming to an end soon, my technique seems effective. Will return tomorrow after I get some sleep to report again

Are you aiming to rank all of them on top (page 1) and are you using the same stuff on all of them or split testing?

Also, you mentioned in your OP that HR views, social signals etc. didn't work, hence trying a new secret technique. Did you ditch the views, signals etc. altogether with this new technique or mixed it in?

Hi, thank you for the compliments. I'm actually only ranking one video but for a few different keywords. That's why theres several different rankings shown. I'm not 100% sure yet about what is working atm because I ordered a few things for the video today(stupidly) and it could be anything giving me the results but it looks like we're going the right direction. I'd say u need a mix of views, likes, comments, social signals etc

A journey could serve for tracking and motivation purpose, not necessarily showing you how things are done step by step, as that would be spoon-feeding. Most probably all of the journeys have a 'little secret' that is too risky to be shown in a public forum, like a twist or something, but leaves a lot open to the imagination and the creativity of the reader.

Well, it's because when I joined a Discord group and asked about YouTube today and how people rank everyone just said "yt is ded". I'm trying to prove that YouTube is definitely not dead and still a viable option. That is the purpose of this thread. If you're not interested in followin the thread then just don't.

The rankings are still the same, it seems that maybe they were improved because of an influx of views rather than my "secret technique". Will keep you guys posted.
