thanks@prateek31, try everything...
domain . com
www . domain . com
http:// domain . com
http:// www . domain . com
That is what I do when I am still using Majestics.
In a way though, what the heck you still doing with Majestics? TF/CF are nothing for me, personally, especially when I am looking for a potential site for guest post.
What I do is I pop in their urls in Ahref (way, way more accurate than Majestics), check their anchor texts use, how many RDs and what's the traffic. Then I dig deeper to their RDs. You will know if it's a good candidate base on the RDs they have. I'm even blind with the backlinks count.
hi all,
Q1-should i choose www or non www version based on backlinks or referring domains ?
Q2-in majestic should i put http://domain.com or just domain.com and choose root domain as dropdown?
thanks
so i should do http://domain.com and http://www.domain.com search in majestic? For general usage, I like the domain without the www, as that is simply a hassle when typing in the domain onto the browser.
Otherwise, there is a difference between www and non-www for expired domains. You will need to examine the link profile back to your site, and see where the authority lies - either with or without www.
If the authority domain is with www, then you should build links and also refer to the domain with www, otherwise, using without the www is akin like using a new domain in the process.
