How would you use a bot to promote an ecommerce product?
]Is there any possible way to get high pr back-links from the pinterest?
Sorry about that! Let's say I am using a bot like Mass Planner that can auto-pin and follow, 20 to 50 private proxies, and a mix or new and old accounts. I have a shopify store with products as well. Goal is to drive people to the website to sell, retarget, etc.Can you be more specific, what bot are you referring to and are you referring to promoting on Pinterest? I would set it up to pin my products to relevant group boards.

So if you have a bit of a budget, what would you do to get traffic.
Sorry for my bad english. yes, this method worked and works now. I previously used 3000 bots, but now I need at least 10,000 botsHi @William702
1. What do you think about pumping the main account's pins by a thousand bots that constantly make repins?

To the people that are using follow/unfollow bots like FollowLiker. What are you followback percentages? Mine are quite low at 3-5%. This gets 30-50 new followers per day when following 1000 people per day...
Also. I read on another thread that if you ONLY repin then your account could be banned. But it seems like you advocate for repinning the top ranked images in your niche.
Thanks for the advice btw. Very nice thread.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom on this.
I have a site that gets 90% of its traffic from Pinterest so I am always looking for ways to improve my strategy. What are your thoughts on:
1. Percentage of others content (repins) to my content. I am currently doing 80:20. Does it matter?
2. How many pins per day is a good number? Should this be spread over all boards or just focus on a couple?
3. Despite the fact that my follower number is increasing by about 1k each month my traffic from Pinterest is declining over time. Any thoughts on why that might be or how to increase it again?
2) I try and stick to a maximum of 90 pins a day. I dont know why I have stuck with this figure but it works for me. I set my accounts up on tailwind so with one account it does roughly 2700 pins a month. If its several products that I am promoting then i will set them up on tailwind to go out to 100+ group boards. so with setting up just 27 pins and setting them up to go out to all the group boards I have 2700 pins and it randomizes them all so one of the 27 pins will go out to one of the 100 boards every 5 - 10 minutes. Takes me all of ten minutes to set up lol.
1) If you have the capacity and means to do it then yeah give it a try.
2) Yeah that's what repining is essentially. So yeah search for viral pins and repin/use those
3) I'm not going to speculate on that as I don't know enough about it.

yes i mean accounts, this is the answer to this messageNo problem, when you say 3000 and 10,000 bots what do you mean? do you mean accounts?.

Does piins help in ranking a site? like lets say i have page about longboards and there are some pics on itf and i pon those images on my longboard board. does it add value? maybe increase my page ranking even just a little bit? thank u
btw, you can now search for tribes inside tailwind
I'm seeing a decline in traffic as well. Perhaps the new format is affecting our CTRs. My viral pins are still tops in keyword ranks, yet, they're pulling less traffic.
By not having pin counts, users won't know the popularity of pins in their feed. I'm not sure how pin numbers influence CTR, but because of Smart Feed, Pinterest has been criticized for the rich getting richer, so to speak. In other words, it could be that Pinterest doesn't believe that viral pins are in their best interest. But at the same time, they're sticking with Smart Feed, an algo that rewards pin engagement. Maybe it's for monetization - a promoted pin displayed next to a pin showing 890K saves. Which one gets clicked more?
Maybe they're using this new format to lessen the effects of viral pins. Now, there's much more "fairness" when competing for user attention. Smart Feed still controls what shows up, but users are not swayed by popularity. They'll click on pins depending only on how they feel about the image not how others feel about that image. Maybe their data shows that promoted pins perform better now when shown among viral pins. And this new format could also be good for newer pins. A pin with 890 saves only needs to evoke the right emotion when displayed next to a pin of similar topic with 890k saves.Of course, everything I said above is just my theory. I've not seen any official statement on the changes. But we're still left having to deal with this new format. So what we need to do going forward is focus on our niche by learning to evoke the right feels using images. Use overlay text, if necessary.
Images with overlay text is now much more powerful because of the other thing we lost in this new format -- description. We didn't lose it per se, but it's not displayed in the user feeds. So action commands like CLICK HERE, READ MORE, etc. will not be seen until users click on images for close ups.
yes i mean accounts, this is the answer to this message
i try to run pinterest ads. But my cc got denied everytime and i have issues with billing to be more specific. Any advice?
