Power Of Forum Answer Backlinks?

SO i was wondering if the text around a link is relevant to its power will a forum back link with high text around it will be powerful ?

yes the text around a link gives it some topicality, so in general you want to surround your links with appropriate text; this is not going to make the link more powerful, just more relevant, so it helps marginally.

No one can say for sure if it will have a huge impact as one might expect.
This being said, I would personally recommend that when you do create such a reply, try not to be so greedy with words.
You are about to provide a group of people with a piece of information they will use. Don't resume it in one row of words. Try and expand the main principle about the discussion, insert the link gracefully while still continuing to provide information after it. It will also help seem more natural and you cover a bunch of keywords around it.

Not really. It's just a forum link. No matter how much text it has around it, it's only good for two things:

1. Diversity. Either anchor or link type diversity. Do not expect any serious link juice from it.
2. Traffic. If the forum post is well written, it can bring some very decent referral traffic.

Apart of that, do not expect any movement from it.

I would think forum thread links would be more powerful than spammy blog comment threads any day of the week simply because of the huge amount of OBLs in scrapebox spammy comments.

From what I've seen, relevant links on high-authority forums are as good as any other, and your competitors will have a hard time replicating it without openly spamming. They can also generate good traffic and lead to more links. Definitely worth IMO.

Yes it is definitely powerful. But you must post only quality content and not spammy content for you links sake and forum authority also important. These are all the criteria. Try to find good forums in your site niche

Forum links are more powerful than the blog comments because sometimes blog commenting counted in spam. If you make forum links and forum is highly authorized them it will benefits you the more.

They have some power, but there should be many of them and of high quality.
It also depends on which forum a link is placed.
