Possible to create an email address without having a website?

Hi,

I just bought a few domains. I'm just wondering whether if I can just create an email address without needing a hosting profile.

For example, I bought a domain name from namecheap, let it park there, and sign up for an smtp, while verifying doing and spf settings.

Yes you can, try Zoho mail or Yandex mail

You can also set up email forwards with namecheap and other registrars, so mail sent to [email protected] gets sent to regularusedaddress@wherever

Sure, you can just host email service associated with your domain. You will need to have the email hosting service for that. Once you will order the email hosting service, add the DNS records and MX records provided by emails hosting provider for your domain.

You will need to wait for 4 to 8 hours for DNS record propagation. After that you can access email associated with your domain.
