Why is that the unfollow module doesn't really unfollow many people? :\

I'm using a template, i didn't change any settings i used my own settings before the program "shut down" for those days and even if i have it to unfollow 30-50 ppl per action it will only unfollow 7-10

This is because of your settings, I am unable to unfollow 500-1000 users per day.

I've tried and I am not blocked from any functionality. I use comments only in the follow mode (to engage more with my potential followers) and these are my settings:

- Like more recent posts
- Amount of posts to like: 0-4
- Chance to like image: 100%
- Comment on liked post
- Comment once per user
{comments with spintax}

I've checked and my comments don't seem so long to be blocked (I can see them in the entire lenght in the comments preview, so they are quite short). I only use the username variable . Tell me if I could help you with any screenshot or logs or whatever if you are going to try to resolve this problem.

Then, if you are looking forward for new updates, I'd have two ideas I've seen on other bots that had been very important to me:

- More variables in the comments (Like I've seen using Spintax in this way: "[Hello | Hi | Good morning] @username" and this produces "Hello username", "Hi username" and "Good morning username", to trick more the IG algorithm);

- DM functionality with Spintax. I usually use it to DM my new followers and ask a poll about what they think about my photos, if they want me to change anything or if they want a S4S or enter in my engagment group (I wait them for answer and then see if their accounts have got the requirements of course).

Tried commenting with your settings and didn't have any issues, so not sure what you are doing wrong.

As for variables in comments, this is already possible. You would then have: "{Hello|Hi|Good morning} "
Support for DM will be added in the future and is not being worked on currently.

How can i start to follow etc??

Download a template and enable the follow module or setup your own settings

After the program detected as a trojaner by my antivirus prog.

I've cleaned the quarantine and try to reinstall gmt2 but a facing this error

I've started the installation as the admin of course...

There are people using on larger accounts (250k) I will have to do some tests and see if it's realy because of a number of followers the account.
Timeout means you either have a slow connection or the proxy your are using is slow.

Currently max modules that can run simoultanously is 8 otherwise this may have a to high strain on your network. This will be custimizable in the future.

I'm still confused about the max number of modules that can run. If right now we can have 25 accounts and they all are doing Follow (25 X 1 = 25), and only 8 max modules, that means that most of the accounts will not run? Is this correct?
If so, how does the bot know which accounts to let the Follow module run, and which accounts to just "hang"?

Also, if we have 25 accounts running 1 module, won't this stress the bot and make it hang?

My internet speed is 100mbps down, 20mpbs up. I also run Followliker at the same time, and my system only used 50% of resources and RAM. Large accounts that hang on gmt2, run fine when I put them in Followliker.
Just in case you guys ask, I do not run accounts at the same time on gmt2 and Followliker. They are either running on one or the other, not both at the same time.

As to the large account hanging, it does it at anytime. Maybe it's scraping in the background. All I know is that if just stops for hours, for example it'll say "scraping" or something else for hours. If I click on overview, nothing happens. I let it wait for 10-15 minutes, after clicking on overview, or settings. Then, I'll see that it's just stuck. I'll turn off all modules and then turn back on, nothing happens.
Other times, after waiting 10-15 minutes, it just hangs, and I have to force shut down the program from Task Manager.

I've tested the big 100K account and only one other account. Same thing happens. Bot gets stuck/hangs.

Not running the big 100K account while testing 7 other accounts doing Follow & Like Modules (7 X 2 = 14 modules), the bot will hang less often. Usually turning off all modules from all accounts and then turning off the program (not forced shut), and then re-opening the account, the bot will go back to normal. This new update lets the accounts go for about 2-3 hours before hanging. Previous bot would hang every 10-15 minutes.

My thinking, is that the bot management of the modules is what's causing the hang. I notice that the hangs usually happen, on my system, when the program resources uses about 8 gigs of RAM. It's like it'll just use that much and not let it go (clear RAM use), and stay there.

Maybe having an option, or the bot doing it automatically, to reset if no actions are performed (hanged) after X minutes?

This is correct if you filters are strict scraping will take long. Disabling or reducing this delay will increase scraping speed hugely. The reason that the delay is so high by default is that for new users it's verry safe

What should be a good quick, but still safe, Settings-Advanced Settings-Scraping Safety Delay?
5 seconds seems slow for my, 3-5 year old, aged accounts.

This is because of your settings, I am unable to unfollow 500-1000 users per day.

It might be due to your settings. I'm currently unfollowing up to 600 users/day

i think the gmt2 owner is still on holiday, unless someone wants to help you , your have to wait till the gmt2 owner is back.

we can not see your settings, so just explain them to us, we might be able to help .

the concept of doing this stuff is straight forward .

1 ig project or methods is all the same just the bot works in different ways.

all I no is that when you unfollow that all you should be doing, and not following the same time.

From my experience with the GMT2(still using it) I will try to help you.
I can see that you have activated the filter "unfollow inactive users" . This will prioritize the unfollowing to these users only and will try to unfollow everyone that didnt post for 75 days. This number will be very little I guess because 75 days and no posting is a big amount of time.

When the bot wont find any other users that didnt post for 75 days will stop the unfollowing method.
That comes from my experience with the bot.

guys after the last update to the software and the thread being reopened, I downloaded the latest update but I didn't have a folder that had the old files. well, i can;t find it anyway, as I'm using in on a virtual machine.

the thing is I'm at 7500 followings that the bot did before, but on the unfollow module it says unfollow users that the bot followed after x amount of days. but because it's a new install of the bot how does it know it followed them before? how do I start getting it to unfollow the users I have? i have loaded a template "dhl/follow/like/unfollow" is the template name

- New Feature: Embed Browser.
- Fixed crash if clicking on usertracking graphs and no users have followed back.
- Changed HWID is generated for licensing. (Should fix issues that were occuring with some VM's)
- Fixed analytics making some parameters lowercase which aren't supposed to.
- Fixed issue with publisher not posting if usertags or caption is left empty.
- Increased max operations to 16.
- Increased max allowed accounts to 75.
- Fixed incorrect generation of device id.

I would advise all users that added their account in v0.1.2 or v0.1.3 to remove their account and re-add them because of the device id fix. If you want you can backup your analytics data and account settings first.

I usualy disable mine becuase my settings aren't extremly strict and I don't scrape to many users per operation.

You can view account templates on the website and add them via the bot.

Many people with AV have reported to having issues with it. Just whitelist the program. I have contacted avast previously and they said they would fix it, but I gues not.

This is correct, 75 is quite a high number, and the bot is probably take quite some time to go through all your followings. I would also recomend you to disable the scrape safe delay if you see it's too slow.

The software can't know which users it followed if you deleted the settings files.

Looks like McAfee and others are flagging it as a virus again. VirusTotal is also showing a number of scans flagging it again too.

Settings seems ok for me, except that thing for inactive users. I don't use it, so cannot tell more about it behaviour
Have you checked which users are in the whitelist? Did you add them manually?

I made several attempts with the comments section and all I discovered was that since the previous update comments with spintax are not working. What could I do wrong? I use squadred brackets to include only the username, but it gives an error. Any ideas on this?
