I have built big accounts, now considering automation / bots

Hello everyone!

I've had good success on IG in the past couple years building accounts without ANY bots or apps. I currently have a few pages all 150,000 or larger that I have built from 0, and have 3-5% engagement. I've done it simply by just being consistent, and really knowing the niche I'm in.


Anyways, I am now looking for ways to turn some more profit on my legit pages and/or grow my network. I have been selling $20 shoutouts to companies, and I do know how to find plenty of them....the problem is having the time to send the DM's.

Are there any automated programs that can send DM's without risking my legit accounts?

Note that I am familiar with what I've read on limits and being flagged (even though I never have been myself), so my thought was to only use my personal smartphone for the legit accounts, and then have a separate device like a tablet for creating other profiles that will be linked to the DM's so that it's not coming from the big accounts.


If they're on different devices, but same IP, could IG still detect my spammy actions from automated programs and close my legit accounts?

It's tough to find any solid info on this as I know IG has gone through many shutdowns of automated programs recently.

The main reason I am nervous about crossing over to any spammy actions is because I know IG's policies and they can just flip the switch and disable your accounts, and there's no way to get them back...its one thing if I had built these accounts with little work through automation, but since they are all 100% legit, it would be devastating to lose one or all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if you just post with bots its no problem .... but be careful with any automation with a high number of actions involved ... like follow - unfollow, mosslike ect ...

Yes, this personally happened to me. I had two accounts in the same niche with 50k followers each. I used two separate devices but with the same IP address. Then one day they both got shut down the same day- I suspect it was because of my spammy actions on the same IP address. Now I used instastacked.com for two accounts, different ip addresses, they use a vps for security, stay well within instagrams limits etc, and I have not had any problems rebuilding, almost back to where I used to be

Ok thanks. Now what about if I decided not to use any automated programs, but was concerned about hiding multiple accounts......

What about just keeping my personal phone and legit accounts on WIFI, but getting 2-3 other cheap smartphones and never putting them on WIFI?

So 2-3 phones with 5 accounts each running simply off that phone's data for staying logged in and posting? And never using those phones to access my other accounts, but using them for the "spammy" actions such as sending DM's, etc?

This would seem undetectable as it would be the same as a few friends all being in the same room and not using WIFI, right....? Just keep e-mail addresses different.

That's possible, but a more efficient way is using proxies. If you used 1 proxy for 3 accounts, you'll need 5 proxies for 15 accounts. I believe 5 proxies can be bought on BST for around $10/monthly. Of course, that's if you decide to use a bot.

Or you can use 1 proxy for each account to be super safe...

Is the proxy setup through the ISP or how do I even go about this? Do they know that there might be fishy behavior going on? I wouldn't even know where to begin with all this, or what the chances are of getting busted.

So in theory, is having 2-3 more phones with different numbers and using only their phone's data basically undetectable as far as having 10-15 accounts in the same house?

Only problem would be accessing the bot, which would need WIFI to run and even if I keep my less desirable phone accounts off WIFI, I still kind of need my main one on WIFI with how much I'd be on it.
