Hey guys, glad to be back. Hope you all were able to test and use the application without tomany issues. The next few days I will be going through the various bug reports and feature requests in this thread posted while I was gone and see what I can do. This may be a long post so here we go

3 days ago, I changed my password in Instagram because of security reasons.
It seems to me like GMT2 will not recognize my new password whatever I do. Click right on account ==> Edit details => Password => Putting the new password should do the trick but it doesn't... What I wrote above is still my current situation.

I guess I will have to wait for some time lol. Enjoy the vacations

So changing your password, and then trying ot change it through the program is not working? Ill have to do some tests, but I thing it was working fine last I tested it, strage.

Why is amount of users that you follow per operation set to max 999

If you set a number of users to follow per operation above 100, you are usualy doing something wrong and may get your account banned, unless you know exactly what you are doing. If you set the number to high it will also take a terrible long time before it actually starts following, so I would revise your settings or use a template.

I'd like to ask what could be the price range once this is released? I want to migrate from followliker but only if I know that I can sustain this program once it is released.

Since one time payment is not sustainable in the long run, I am thinking a small monthly fee (10$?), I still need to create a proper pricing model but still a bit early for that.

Hi I am constantly getting stuck on scraping a users followers what can be done about this? because it stops all processes and just gets stuck scraping

It's probably not stuck on scraping, but just taking a long time becase your settings are either strict or the amount to follow per operation is verry high. Try using a template and see if that works for you.

Hey guys - before I delete my account (looks like that's the only thing that could save me from not using GMT2 in the next 3 weeks), is there anyway I can save the data ? What files should I be saving and where are they stored? That would be nice. Thanks !

Somewhere back in thread have the same question: Can I clone bot on another personal computer and where I can find files to do it? The settings (templates) are saved local or in my profile?

PS: I know that OP isn't here right now, but someone can know that.

If you ever need to backup all your settings (accounts, templates, etc.) just save the folder C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\gmt2\save\
Then if you ever want to restore your settings just restore that folder.

Would you look into implementing the following:

Copy start/stop times to other days. For example, if I want to the program to follow every day at a certain time, I enter Monday 1PM-3PM, and just click copy to and select the other days (check on Tuesday, Wednesday, etc). Right now we have to enter the times for each single day. Having multiple accounts makes this time-consuming.

Also, option to Copy Settings to New Accounts (check mark account to copy settings to).

Also, adding a time delay in between Liked Photos. Right now it seems to be liking photos every second after it followed a user.
For example, Like Photo delay 2-12 seconds, etc.

I'll see what I can do for the delay between likes and setting up timetables. As for copying settings to new accounts, you can create a template and apply that template to the new account. In the future you will be able to create account groups where all settings are shared.

One thing I would like to do which I may be overlooking is for a 'campaign/project' to have an end-date, especially if I am managing multiple accounts

The bot was not really designed with a "campain structure" in mind. Each account is it's own and has it's own settings. Some stuff are shared between all accounts like public blacklist and templates.

Additionally, I've been trying your great software for the past few days. Great results and easy to use.

I don't know if the software already has this, but I'm trying to find out how many accounts the program has followed for the day. The only option that I see in Summary is for the Last 24 hours Follows.
If this is not available, I'd love to see an option for Follows today and a summary of the previous days.

The bot automatically tracks your account stats (followers, following and uploads) every 24 hours. In the summary page, you can view how many users were followed the previous day compared to the day before that.

Quick question. Is the Liking under the Follow Module, controlled by the Settings in the Like Module?

I'm trying to control the speed at which posts are liked under the Follow module. Right now it's about 1 per second.

I have the Like Module turned off. Only running the Follow module.

No, the liking in the follow module is completly individual and doesn't use the settings in the like module. The liking in follow module only contributes to the amount of like last 24 hours and does not affect your hourly, daily or weekly like limit.

I'm back. How about adding an option to Unfollow those that haven't liked our posts in X days?

This won't really be possible to implement properly since Instagram restricts a number of users you can retrieve who like a picture. So if your picture has lots of likes, many users will be unfollowed even tho they liked your picture.

One more question. What is the maximum number of users that can be imported into the Whitelist and the Blacklist.

I tried adding some today, but it seems that it's less than 100.

There shouldn't be a limit, just imported 10 000 users into the blacklist without issue.

Another question. Is it possible to add a user to the Whitelist, before we follow them? I tried, and was not able. I would like to have the option of adding users to the Whitelist, before I follow them.

No this is not possible, because the bot tracks your followers and when you whitelist someone, just whitelists their user id (internal code used by ig to track users) instead of their username. So if they change their username, they will still be whitelisted. If you were able to add users before following them, this wouldn't work.

Can you schedule posts for let's say a week? like schedule X post for sunday 12:00, Y post for monday 9:00, Z post for friday 10:00 etc

Yes, when using "quick publish" you can select any date using the datepicker.

Everything is good as it is but I do have one question;
You can only have one filter type at a time? cuz i've been getting an error saying "too many requests made, waiting a few minutes before retrying" and "consider making your settings more flexible or remove this filter" which the filter type I used was the hashtag and i used 3 hashtags.

No, you can have as many filters as you want. There is no limit currently.

Can GMT2 scrape followers based on Location?

2-step is not supported currently, but ill see what I can do.

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this. Works perfectly. One thing though, if the image is Portrait Format instead of a Square, it cuts the image off in the Image Publisher.

If the image is not in the allowed aspect ration or has a bigger/small resolution than allowed. Gmt2 will automatically add padding to your image to fix the issue. If you wish that this does not happen, make sure the image ratio/resolution is allowed by Instagram.

No, not really. If you post your suggestion in this thread, and it's intresting I usualy implement it pretty fast.

Follow feature: the analytics seems to display 0 followers and 0 followings instead of showing the real followers/followings.
this only happens to the first 40 follows. I've checked the page itself and the page does have followers/followings. may this be a bug?

This is normal and not a bug. The bot automatically scrapes your followers and retrieves their stats gradually thoughout the day. Reason for this is since instagram may get suspisous if you retrieve all the stats of all your accounts instatly. If you wait, you will eventualy see all the stats of your account.

Yes, the owner has access but I think that:
1. The database might be encrypted for security reasons
2. He will not risk stealing accounts and ruin his reputation in this forum
3. He will make enough money with the software that stealing botted ogads accounts won't interest him

One of the main benefits of using a desktop solution instead of a cloud base one to automate your Instagram account is that all of your settings/data is stored locally. There is no reason to store it online. All of your account details and such are stored in your save folder located C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\gmt2\save\

All of your settings are encrypted and stored locally, so not even you or anyone using your pc can retrieve your Instagram information even with access to your pc.

Guys, I'm running 7 accounts and the program does not run for more than 15 minutes before hanging. I know it's Beta. What is the max accounts that you guys are running so that it does not hang?

There shouldn't be a limit, I can run 20 accounts without issue so I gues one account may be causing the others to hang.

Developer said that GMT2 supports 10 accounts,but 8 modules working in the same time.
So if you have 7 accounts and like and follow module activated in each one,it will stop.

45 accounts are supported currently.

How do you activate it, I wrote myself but not logged in and also says Not Activated, who activates my registration?

On another subject, I've been reading about downloading templates. I tried it today, but it's requesting a 5 digit code? Anyone know where we can get the codes for the templates?

Also, is there a regular shut-down button, or just the X on the top right hand to close the program? Reason I'm asking is that I've checked the computer's Resource Monitor and after closing down the program it still terminating with memory and stuff left over for about 1 minute, with the average CPU used counting down to zero, and then it disappears from the Resource Monitor.

Just closing through x is fine, it's normal that it takes a while to release all of its recourses but it won't/barely affect your pc performance.

No, the bot does not log out ever. It stores your login token and uses that (same like staying logged in via mobile app. If the login token expires, it automatically logs in again.

No, .Net is needed which is only possible on Windows (mono won't work since WPF is used.)

I love the software so far and I think it has the potential to become the best automation software out there. Im actually holding off on buying instadub because I don't want to get that if your bot is going to come out soon I hope One problem with the software, I wish that you could set it to follow users who have liked or commented on the most recent post of a specific user (similar to how you can set it on followliker) instead of having to go in daily and set the bot to follow the likers and or commenters of a specific photo. Its this setting that always has given me the highest engagement rates and highest followback ratios. Thanks so much for this awesome bot and I really cannot wait until a full version is released

What you need is the recent activity filter. It will do exactly what you described.

On a related note about scrapping users...anyone else experiences up to 2 hours before bot starts to actually do anything? The bot took 1 hour tos scrape 300 followers from an account before liking their posts. If you put it on larger workloads it just gets stuck.

Your settings might be too strict or the amount to scrape per operation may be way to high. Try using a template and see if that resolves the issue.

Have you considered adding an option to the schedule tool allowing you to make a comment on that post immediately after it is posted? This would be awesome because it would allow users to keep their hashtag usage discreet and not make their captions look as spammy.

I tried it with one of my client's accounts and I believe this is causing the program to freeze.
Smaller accounts (without the 100K in the mix) run fine.

If possible, I can have a teamviewer session and see what's causing the issue.

@JJJackson Good idea is add "stop" function for each account, i mean pause automation logging in, its very usefull, for example - i don't use proxies but mobile internet with other IP after turn off/on, so if i will open Gram MultiTool then all my accounts starting with 1 IP adress = ban guaranteed.

Maybe you can copy the save folder, and just restore it for every account each time you change ip since you aren't using proxies.

Sorry to be suspicious since OP seems like a good guy but are y'all sure we should trust this? A free bot seems to good to be true, even if it will be paid at some point. And if you scan the latest setup.exe, the VirusTotal has 19/63 detections, quite a few more than in the link OP posted. I'm too new to post links but just try scanning it for yourself if you don't believe me.

A lot of reputable antiviruses are saying it's a trojan...can anyone explain why these could be false positives and we should still use this?

Seems the hash of the program was added to some antivirus database while I was away. I just recompiled the program and re-released the program and it seems all detections disappeared. The program does not contain any virus and all reports are for something generic which are false positives.

Is there anyway to have the bot scrape a list for you then export it to a txt file? Is there any function similar to this?

The bot is not supposed to be used as a scraper, so it isn't possible.

Wanted to add to my previous post since I didnt get a answer. "I have been testing the bot and so far in two days of running I have gained around 150 followers. I have been running it 24/7 however. Is this a bad idea? Should I schedule it to run 10-12 hours a day or am I good with it running 24/7. My settings are 45 follows per hour / 600 per day. I have had zero bugs. Great work!"

I wanted to add that I think the Whitelist feature could be a little more refined to be able to select people faster and easier. I just found it a little painful to Whitelist over 100 people. Very minor but figured I would give my input.

You can import a list of users to the whitelist if you don't want to select one by one.

The bot lately,after developer went to vacation crashes 2-3 times per day.
Like "GMT2 is not working/not responding" with just 2 accounts.
That maybe means that it should be updated because instagram changed something,so my advice is dont use it for big accounts until the developer is back.
On the other hand the bot is very good till now,with many features that I like and I use it in daily basis.

Since no one answered my previous question, I'll ask it once more: has anyone managed to use more than one module at the same time successfully? I really would like to be able to follow and unfollow at the same time like you can with any other normal bot, but I can't get it to do that.

You can enable all modules fine without issue.

Migh be because of your settings, try using a template and see if that fixes the issue.

You are able to do this already in the like module. Select as filter "Single User" then import a list of users. The bot will then like their recent posts.

It does the job without me having to configure tons of settings to make it work properly.

The UI is so well thought, quite stunning!

I can't really find anything to criticize considering we're only this far in the journey! The user experience has been amazing so far.
