Mining on a VPS?

Hi, im wondering with a VPS two forms for make money if i could do it:

1-minergate on a VPS or various VPS cheaps for mining BTC, monero or a better actual cryptocurrency.
2-Uploading on rapidgator or another server files, and download them in your VPS
count as downloads ?
for example if i up 1000 files and download 1000 with my VPS can i get pay for this?

Please tell me if any of these 2 methods works or some variant of them thanks in advance

1. CPU mining is dead, you can't mine a dime with VPS.
2. Only 1 download counted for one IP, you can't download files yourself, it's against their ToS.

For option two I have few ideas, you can start uploading movies/tvshows/softwares if you have good internet speed on your VPS, and find a good streaming sites to add links, find any warez forum to post the links of softwares.

1. CPU mining is not dead , is just not profitable (zCash CPU ~18sol/s)
2. There is noone from the reputable hosting providers who allow cpu mining over VPS

ok, then a vps uses your ip？
I thought that when you use a vpn, you can upload files from your home pc and download them in the vpn with the ip of the vpn, are there ways to use fiverr to hire people to download?
Excuse my twisted ideas xD

Another idea that I will surely carry out is to create a fitness blog (me and my brother work as fitness trainers, we plan to make a blog and monetize it when we can.

Isnt mining like dead,like so so 2014 or whatever? Plus you need best video card available,VPS gives crappy cards,you need best gaming card for 500 or 1k,and you need more than one.

all azure and aws was dead for mining...you will got banned for a few hours after start. better you need to have real GPU to start mining

Buy an antminer s9, you will make your money back in 5 months. After that pure profit!

I did mine ~800 Bytecoin on CPU.....though it took 15 days and 1-3 laptops....
