Hello,

Just a question, have any of you people or anyone you know ever had a notice or something like a DMCA to remove content or take down a sport streaming website? Also, do you think it should be okay if i just show the thumbnail with an ad over the top which redirects to the real stream?

DMCA is an American law. If you have any form of offshore hosting dmca can be ignored. Its up to you or your host to follow those rules. If both ignore it so be it. Its up to you if you wanna follow the notice or not. The only thing they can do after that is sue you. But that never happends. They dont want to invest the time and money into that.

There's actually never any streams, sports streaming sites just link to other streaming sites, it's a never ending circle, by the time 5 minutes goes by users are getting lost in pop up ads and then they go back to google and continue to search, eventually they may end up back at your site.

Those sites rank good in google because there's 1000's new links/games stream keywords in google everyday.

On sports streaming sites, remember when you think you found the stream, it says, "Sign up to watch" that's a pop up ad, followed by many more pop up ads.

American law ... if you receveid dmca with hosting in bulgaria and website in deutschland google delete the page if you have chance and homepage if you have not chance. I have xx time the problem

If you're using usa host (godaddy, hostgator, bluehost, hostwinds, etc) they will suspend you if you don't take the necessary actions on your dmca request. Depends who you piss off you might get letter from a legal team to go along with it.
Simply use a host that's not based in usa, such as one in NL.

The problem is not hosting... The problem is dmca for google search.
