Help me understand how this happened so I can repeat it

One of my videos got a giant boost in the last few days. The raise is 600% and I have done nothing to make it happen:

The reason: Main page appearence:

Why suddenly I am appearing a lot in user´s main page?

Wanna make it happen again, I got a few comments and fixed some https error in a links in description before this happens, but made it whit all videos. What do you think?

What "get ranked" actually means? Which would be the reasons for this?

It means your video made the youtube algorithm happy for whatever reason. It's hard to figure out an exact reason without much details.

Surf that wave for as long as you can. Is this boost in views effecting the other videos on your channel? Usually there is some sort of positive residual effect when there is a jump like this. I would try to drive the traffic from that video to the other videos on your channel. What videos does youtube suggest for users who are watching the video that got a boost?

Yeah pretty sure you got noticed over reddit or moved to main page since "página principal" means homepage so your video didnt reached suggested tab.

Totally agree with you. Only affecting videos in suggestions next play. Would take that tip of use the video to redirect traffic, thanks! Suggests other ones that are mine and others, can't control that.

I work A LOT onpage youtube seo for all my videos: thumbnail, length, keywords and 250+ words in description, mentioning other related keywords also.
This one went behind an specific keyword, zero competition and lots of searchs. And yes, it's a good one, but the boost comes no from searchs but from main page.

The reason still remains behind youtube algorithm doors of why I am appearing a lot in main user's page suggestions. Maybe "Continue watching" section? I know this won't last much so I am uploading hard this next weeks and taking advantage of the good moment. Subs are growing a lot too.

A word on Youtube: I am newbie, and if you are, go Youtube. It's simple and it pays off, have patience, work your content, answer comments and do a lot of keyword research and onpage seo. Just work it slowly and learn its ways, it will pay off.

Will update again in a few days to say if the trend has fallen or it still goes so we all can learn some more about ranking in YTB.

Update:

Uploaded a video tonight and got 600% up views in the first hours than before. I mean, I used to get 30 views 1 hour now I get 100 or more.
I got a lot of new subs so it makes sense and I am winning in suggestions.
That last video hit well!

May be a lesson here:

Work 1 video deeply( just make it better, put some real time on it. Example of this: Make a great thumbnail, do great transitions, aint that hard, just google it and learn it)
Do one Video but make it good, its more, do it great. That's first.

Then do some more great content and drink the juice.

Content seems to be the WORD.
