2) Possibly insert their links into common offers(not saying you will do this but many link shortening services have been found out for doing it)

I even do not have server log on it. However, maybe later I will invite someone to see my code and IIS settings.

Most likely I can do for myself when my bank gets empty is let visitors open some pixels or small iframe thing and make some money by alexa rank boosting service.

Be honest, use the traffic still a hassle, I'd better ask for donation.

Replace the link is just like stealing or robbery, I will never ever do that, even call black hat here.

ok, here is how POST works, it needs:

JavaScript (to resubmit the form, otherwise I can make button and let visitor click,.... no no no, that's not a good idea) if no JavaScript, will meta refresh and no POST vars.

except JS, it also need iFrame, otherwise normal submit will still pass referer.

ok, seems the POST works on PC but not mobile, I will try some another way for mobile

Hi folks, thank you all for your effort, I need more tester test my tool for me. You know what, after I install a statcounter on the homepage and test page, I saw some referer like:
http://hiderefer.org/?http://referer.us/http-referer-test.html
it means the tool hiderrefer.org is not working well, on Vista, IE8 or more but I don't know.

So I wanna you guys test my tool for me on these systems and browsers because I do not have

Another idea about domain is: my tool is located on a dedicated IP address, so you can point your own domain on it and use your own domain for no-referer redirect, howevery, that cannot work on HTTPS

Currently IP is 67.228.161.238, basicly, it very unlikely need to be change. I will seriously think about this bind your own domain strategy, and if I decided go public, I have to make a maillist and make me easy to notify everyone if the IP need change.

Another suggestion from your side for testing purpose, what about for a while you also record the platform/user agent so when something breaks you will know where it comes from.

One more thing, you can create like a user registration which just accepts email and password so users can see statistics such as how many ppl click their links.

I don't know. I know my tool works on IE8, but I cannot sure it is vista or xp, for my experience, will work on both, because browser works so independent these days

Yes, I have fail safe. And I am busy creating a full test tool for easy testing and gather response. Now only Manual Test available on http://referer.us/http-referer-test.html

Maybe in future, it will slow down the server and use many resources, unless I got some donations on this project, I properly won't do it. Because you can easy archive this by place stats code before redirection (hide or fake referer), and get stats from your CPA or CPC
