[METHOD] Popups made easy! 2000$/month

Hey Sephrata, are those the landing pages you are using in particular? I don't think Mobidea allows misleading advertising like saying "You are infected with a virus". Are you using a CPA network that allow advertisements like these? Thank you! I'd PM you for questions specified to you if I can but there doesn't seem to be an option, maybe it's because I have too little activity on my account so far...

I'm using those kind of LPs. You need to run the aggressive ones with AV (all the competition run them and you have zero chance without them). Very few traffic networks allow you to run them, so you need to cloak.

Always read the rules of the network you run them on. Mobidea doesn't state you can't run them.

Why are you guys sharing this valuable info? Won't it just add to your competition? (Also, why does mobidea have a full tutorial? Shouldn't they just buy their own traffic and bank? I'm guessing these platforms collect the data from winning campaigns and use it themselves. )

These are very simple basics - there isn't too much specific info here. Your traffic sources are your goldmine - whitelists/blacklists/IPs. No one will share those.

1. Are you only focused on mobile here? Would it work for desktop as well? I have heard in the past that mobile traffic converts very poorly because there are a lot of misclicks, etc...

Desktop is different, but there is some overlap. The same principals apply with finding the right traffic sources and optimising your campaigns. This is the beauty of traffic as you can apply it to all kinds of campaigns.

2. Assuming a healthy budget $1-2k, persistence, and a little luck, how long would it take to find a profitable campaign to scale? Do you remember how long it took you?

It's hard to say. If you're proactive and running a lot of campaigns (3-5 each day), I would say within a week or so. Remember that it's not like you're spending 1k and you get nothing back, you really want to start -60% ROI and then you look to optimise.

Scaling is hard and this is something I have yet to master. I've made the mistake of running campaigns in geos with limited traffic.

Spy tools are good as they show you which successful campaigns are being run, the traffic sources (to an extent) and the offers.
'I know what they are just wondering do you recommend any ?

Diet pills won't work - you need carrier billing. I would suggest native ads for diet/nutra.

Do you recommend any native ad networks, i have setup a campaign at Mgid, looking for more

By the way, have you guys tried going directly to the source of the offers after you found that it's good? I can imagine you'd get a lot more than what the network is paying you for each conversion.

Adplexity - beats all the competition, it's $150 a month though (with one of the many discount codes out there)

Native I've yet to get involved in. You do need a much bigger budget though for native ads.

Yes, this is one important way to scale and/or you ask for a decent pay bump from your network.

How do you set up a cloak if you don't mind answering, thank you!

I use Voluum for this. I set the campaign to direct link to the offer. Once approved, I just change the flow in Voluum to point to my landing pages and then set up a filter so if they check again, I just send them to a global rotator.

You can spend another $200 a month on a cloaker, but I don't see the point when Voluum lets you do the same.

I don't think Mobidea allows misleading advertising like saying "You are infected with a virus"

I should add here that Mobidea's own academy shows examples of running aggressive landers. Always check with you AM about the boundaries - they don't generally care as long as the advertiser is happy. If the advertiser doesn't want them, then don't run those offers with an aggressive lander.

Most campaigns these days are run with misleading/aggressive landers. When running an anti-virus campaign, you tell them their phone is infected and will explode. When running a sweepstakes campaign, you tell them they've just won an iPhone or Galaxy. All the competition is doing this and you stand no chance without it.

It is genuinely scary how some people will pay $30 (with one click submission) to enter a competition to win a phone. They either don't read the small print of the advertiser or they aren't the smartest cookies.

Here is a case study about a native ads campaign. Basically, you need to choose an obscure country (no tier 1 as you will need a huge budget), and run offers such as nutra/dating/casino/makemoneyoline.

https://adcombo-blog.com/get-4k-outbrain-com-case-study/

Usually, the network will provide you with a landing page, it should look like a newspaper article. Mgid is good as you can run pretty anything on them, no restrictions, so no need to cloak with them.

I see, yeah the samples I've sent to the AM were ones that say "Your phone is at risk" or "You may be infected", I guess those just aren't aggressive enough? Also, is there a cheaper tracker than Voluum that I can use that also offers the same cloaking potential?
I may need a couple more pointers on how to cloak properly once I start to get set up by the way, thanks a lot for the quick replies :)!

I think if you're with Mobidea or Max Bounty, there is a 25% off code for 6 months with Voluum.

Fraudfilter (never used them, so cannot say if they are good/bad) but they have 30 days free - http://www.fraudfilter.io/prices.html

Check this guy out. I have no affiliation with him whatsoever, just stumbled upon his videos when doing my own research.

I'm wary of anyone playing youtube 'guru', as I've learned that at some point I, the viewer am the true customer.

I also just signed up for adplexity, which is kinda expensive, with no real results yet, so take it with a grain of salt...

Basically he is showing you to just reverse engineer the competitions' successful campaigns. With this tool you see everything, from traffic source, GEO, affiliate network, to the landing page itself which you can rip with one click.

Obviously you'd have to twist one variable to differentiate... but this seems like a winning strategy.

Sebastian is well known and very good at what he does. He's made a lot from mobile pops.

Did you use the $50 off discount?

I have no idea why they bother with the $50 discount - there are a million sites and forums offering it. BHW should also have their own discount for it as I'm sure there are quite a few members here that use it for adult, native or mobile.

Can adplexity be used for native ads spying too or is it just for the popups
Sorry if i sound naive i am quite new to this, i am old fashion seo hustler :D

It's actually a separate subscription for native ads. I think $160 with a discount code.

Sebastian recommends $10-20k budget to even start messing around with native ads. Can anyone else vouch for this in their own experience?

still expensive, is it really worth the money? adplexity

Is there a place to make adult popup landers easy? Everything I've found is rated PG. I think popup ads would be a nice twist to test out some adult revenue methods.

Or as @ZlatanTheGod says It's important to remember that only people without a brain, believes in these

This was the top sweepstake campaign in Finland recently (Clickdealer):

mllTYpa
Those are CC submit offers. They do work with pops but I've never tried them tbh.

3k minimum for native ads but if you don't have a blacklist of sites already you will need to spend much more to find profitable websites and ditch the ones that don't convert.

So yeah, your best bet as I said is to target tier 2 or even tier 3 countries. The clicks are cheaper there. You might be able to find a profitable camp with 5k. But nothing else. given than profitable camps with native can get you relatively easily to $1000 + a day, you gotta invest heavily at the beginning.

Only 1% of the people that will read this thread will take real action and get to profit, so yeah I don't think people sharing information worry about that. But yeah, it can give you some sort of satisfaction to help someone that really want to help his family, improve his life etc... at least if you believe in karma :)
