i am trying to rank of moderate keyword, i manage to grab position on 2nd page but couldn't make to 1st page and i am loosing ranking too

please suggest what should i do to rank on top

what have i done ?
  1. taken authority sites links
  2. Only quality links pointed back to landing page
  3. length of article is 600 words
  4. site is 6 month old
  5. Good onpage seo

Can you pm with a sample of any article?
It might be quality of content, you should consider 1k-2k words per article too.

Compare your site with the competitors SEO strategies. You should know about your competitors as well.
You might over optimised your content for your keywords, that would be the reason drop in ranking. Get a full SEO audit report from an expert.
Improve the length of article bit more up to 1K. Make sure you have good engaging content in your articles.
Share your content with social media, Bring traffic from social media, Let them talk about your site
Keep on Building quality niche relevant links.

how offen do you suggest building quality links to the landing page?

Yes, I got problem like you .So what should you do now ? The best way to do now : Add more authority quality backlink as much as you can : lifehack, medium ...etc ...

Try to add some more content and give a bit social boost.
If that also doesn't work then go for guest posting.

If the links are coming from the relevant sites with the content you can build links daily. You have to make sure there is no footprint from the backlinks you are getting. Instead of believing only guest post, you should try with some PBN, Press Release, Blog commenting. Those are will give link diversity to your site. Make sure you are getting backlinks to your inner pages as well.

Driving Traffic To your website Need More Check list
  • Domain age (min 6 month Required)
  • Attractive and Fast loading Website Template/Theme
  • Onpage and offpage Optimization
  • Quality and Quantity content
  • Don’t use Copied content and copied Images (check with plagiarism checkers)

I`d recommend to investigate the competitors, too. You can even do that quickly with any tool that analyzes keyword difficulty - this will allow you to get an overview an see the common strengths and weaknesses of the top pages. I mean you should see if they are winning as they have way more strong backlinks - then you should focus on link-building, or, perhaps, they indeed have a more relevant and usefull content - then you may try extending and optimizing yours a bit more. A good thing to add is structured data markup as well - it`s a little tweak making the search result much more appealing (surely, if that fits your page).

why am I the only one recommending strong links from relevant posts on high authority sites, costing approx 100 - 150€ up...

OP, just fire up some scrapebox comments. I read they might help too ..

* Consider checking the quality of content comparing to the competitors.
* Make sure that the content quality is more important than quantity.
* Try to promote those posts on social media.
* On page SEO is a tough one and keep it On.
* I would suggest you to give a try to off-page as well.

which onpage technique you would prefer in such condition?

600 words? That is nothing, try 1500 to start. That is just not nearly enough content. Keep building links.

Hope it is not health niche as that niche is getting more and more difficult to rank with each passing day.
