Alright guys, after a year of being behind the scenes here, I'm posting to make an entrance as well as an update as to basically what the fk I've been doing these past years. Excu'seeee the french.

So, I've been a member of this site for just over 5 years now I've seriously learned a lot about this online marketing world we live in. ITS SO DAMN INSANE!!!

I've watched it grow, and I've watched it become harder and harder - as the money in the industry grows and grows. I mean I literally think about this industry about 6-7 years ago and if we knew what we know now then...Oh boy we'd all be millionaires.

The truth is, I never really started making sense of it all until about a year ago. I'd be caught up in learning everything there is to it - web design, email marketing, social media marketing, then lead capturing, and then SEO.

So, about sometime near the end of last year I decided to use my knowledge and try to give it a shwirl in the affiliate marketing world. I thought to myself - If I can market anybodys product hell, I can market my own with no problem. YES - I GUESS I CALL MYSELF A REVERSE ENGINEER FOR SURE.

So... to make this long story short - fast forward today about 6 months later and this is what I have.

Current update: AS OF - 05/24/17

Yes - I know it's not much... BUT Here's the breakdown.

My purchases over the past 7 months:

- GSA : Discount $69
- GSA SEO Indexer: $20
- 2 Months of private proxies: $40
- List of url's for GSA: $40
- Scrapebox (which I ended up not really using - yes sad waste of money but like I said I WAS LEARNING A LOT SO FAST): $97
- PBN's: 10 PBN TF40 Contextual Links - $30
-Hosting: $13 1st year

Total investment: $309

These are the results I have on the first page:

I only have about 15 keywords on the first page - and the best is obviously for a 2k a month volume keyword. Hoping to use some money next month to try and push them a bit further up - but might switch niche aswell. All depends on whether I see potential I guess with keywords.

So I know it's not much...but I'm pretty proud.

What I did?

So like I told you guys earlier - I learned a ton of different things and experimented at the start. And I guess it kind of worked.

1. I pumped about 60+ HIGH PR Links to my site - This is when I was experimenting on GSA. I used links I got from scrapebox.

2. I started getting into PBN's - I bought some HIGH TF PBN Links

3. While all this was working (I was VERY PATIENT) and I was working on my on-page SEO, social signals, and content. I mean don't forget - THIS IS AN AMAZON Affiliate site!

4. REPEAT - Yeah, I did the same thing for other posts.

And THAT'S IT!

So, now I'm at the point where I've figured out - OK this sh*t MUST WORK.

I have only done so little link building - but I'm at the point where I can't afford putting much money back in until I start working. (even if it's just $40 - I'm a broke ass college student who starts a full time job in 20 days!)

P.S. If you want to do online marketing - definitely have a side income stream on the side, because the start you probably won't be making money. And I'm sure most of you know that - just giving a heads up to a few noobies round here.

So, I'm coming to the end of this post - and I NEED THE EXPERTS HELP. I've been reading and learning for the past 5 years, and it's about damn time I get involved in the community. Because the best way to learn is to ask questions - An old meme once told me.

If anyone is kind enough to give me input, I WOULD LOVE IT *Lowkey begging you guys to at least comment so I don't feel lonely here*

Thanks for the awesome community, and THANKS BHW FOR HONESTLY CHANGING MY LIFE!

I finally FINALLY have found my passion in life - and it's 100% Online marketing and ALL THINGS DIGITAL!

you can call me a nerd I'm fine with that...

A nerd whose passionate about making that dough... Promise i'll make it one day guys!!!

Important Note: I will regularly update this post and share with you guys how I'm doing and if I launch in any other niches. I will also respond to any questions if anyone has any further ?'s.

Congrats with your sucess!

Yes GSA Search engine ranker works. Web 2.0 works . 301 works. Everything works when you know the real purpose of each thing.
Key is niches you use and how you use.

One of my best stretergies is just

Money Site - WEB 2.0 - GSA SER contextuals with <50OBL - All GSA SER Contextuals + Do follows

and most important part patince . Google takes time much that it used to.

My time is 4 months and if it freeze 2nd page with simple PBN links you can do it.

Also don't forget to make an youtube chanel point to your site.

This is exactly what i follow for past years and works charm, Thank you for youtube channel thingy. i guess so

Nice read up buddy, I will follow this.

Nice work op. Following your progress.

This sounds somewhat similar to my journey so far. BHW definitely taught me a ton about SEO that I wasn't getting from my 9-5 (all white hat AF).

I also bought GSA SER like a month ago and have watched a couple videos on how to use it but still haven't done so.. do you have any good resources or advice on how to get those high PR links? Do you need Scrapebox for that?

This is great input, and EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Apparently I guess I'm supposed to disagree with the 301 (everyone is saying this doesn't work SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO BELIEVE)

I'm reading up more about OBL with GSA - So to clarify what you mean by this is basically contextual links on a Web 2.0 pointing to your money site and these links all have 50+ outbound links?

Anyone have any advice as to a method you've used to rank from #7 to potentially 1-3?

This is what I spent too! At least you are at page 2. I havent got there even on easy kw. If you want we can help each other since we are on the same path . pm me

I'm 100% down to find users who I can work with. I'll shoot you a PM and share more about my method.

Are you talking about 301 shorteners or 301 domain redirect?

301 link shorteners work. Web 2.0s work. I use GSA to create filtered tiered links to both.

I build 3 tiers contextuals < contextuals + blog comments < blog comments

I added in blog comments just because I haven't tested link indexers in a while. Last time I checked Elite Link Indexer was the best.

Also make sure the pages on domains being used for contextual are being indexed by Google recently.

301 domain redirects have been discussed a lot and every thread ends up concluding your better off building that domain into a PBN.

Read shaunmarrs.com he's active on this forum and has really detailed guides for GSA that are up to date.

301 shortner works for me. But that doesn't mean it works along. Think in real world. all users use 301 for day to day tasks use web 2.0 and all of them. Just follow diversity.
for me nothing has changed but googles indexing time.

personally, i like shaunmarrs guides what i don't like his affiliate links. check his web 2.0 recommendations and you guys can see there are lot good and affordable offers than that. so do your diligence.

I know you were mentioning Shaunmarrs, but do you have any other sources to learn more about 301 shortners and the whole 301 passing link juice sh*t cause I'm hopeless at this stuff - still quite a new concept to me.

Another advocate of 301s here. Basically, you're leaching off the DA that they already have and the power of GSA is boosting them. However, they're also acting as a filter to protect against the extremely spammy nature of GSA. It's a bit lengthy, and not exclusively using 301s, but this thread has helped some other folk.

Yeah this post is awesome! I read it, and actually wanted to ask you a few things - what do you mean when you mentioned 301 Structure ( you also wrote 10 high DA shortners) , you mentioned it and I was wondering if you maybe dummify that for me a bit?

This is what you wrote:
In terms of the 301 structure, as mentioned I build up to 10 high DA shorteners (tier 1). After this, I then build 30 to 40 tier 2 shorteners to each one that was created in tier 1. Subsequently, these are then bombarded with GSA links.

This is what you wrote:

Sure thing. Rather than making x amount of shorteners to a web 2.0, I split the total number up into ten. The reason for this is that I can then pump up these 10 with secondary 301s.

By doing so, ok mitigating the risk of the tier 1 301s being removed by the sheer amount of spam that I'm sending to them.
Also, it's best to have as many 301s as possible. The problem with this is that there aren't that many out of the main 10 301s I used in tier 1 that have a high DA. It's this DA that's really helping you here. Also, the tier 1 links don't like being shortened by each other. By that I mean you can't shorten a goo.gl link with bit.ly. However, the tier 2 301s do allow you to 301 the tier 1 links.

So basically I take the link of my site. I.e it would be sony.com. From there, I then make ten 301s from sites such as owly and bitly.
Then I take the each 301 and further shorten them by various other 301s. The minimum I make is 30 and the max I make per tier 1 link is 200 301s.

You would then hit the second tier with GSA. The tier 2 links will catch the spam, and filter through the juice to the tier 1 301s and then onto the web 2.0. Do not use this method directly to your money site. For a parasite it is fine, but not a money site. If using a money site, you need to point these links to a web 2.0 which then links to your site.

So in the last part you said NOT to direct this to your money site.. Did you mean don't direct the 301's directly to your money site or don't even direct the web 2.0 to your money site (that the tier 1 301's are linked to).. and instead add a second web 2.0 filter?
So if you want to point to money site, you are saying: Tier 2 301 >> Tier 1 301 >> web 2.0 (filter 1) >> web 2.0 (filter 2) >> money site
