This is basically it - SEO and IM are very hard.
So many people and looking to get rich from IM and a lot of them want an easy route.
So there it's lots of demand for hand holding in IM.

The gurus are just servicing that demand, and profiting from it.

Sure some gurus know what they are doing but are they there to make money for you? No, they are there to make money for themselves.

I recently had to leave pretty much every facebook group I was in that had anything to do with SEO.

All SEO FB groups are a sales funnel to some copy pasted old knowledge or some upsold shit from here (which is mostly already upsold shit)

I think there are so many guru's due to the never ending stream of gullible idiots.

If they want money they're doing it for themselves not us.
Builds trust, asks questions about how I want to live, lifestyle.
Keeps me focused on business matters.
Helps me to see strengths and faults.
I have ADHD and huge communication issues. A great challenge in this industry.
Has provided a plan that will solve business growth issues 30 days after completion.
Learned nothing from guru's in 4 years.
Learned more about myself and business goals from mentor in 3 weeks.
Find a mentor not a guru.
Completed goal: talk about my ADHD to others, so I'm not perfect, at least I didn't b.s. anyone.
