Instagram posting - bot question

My competition is using follow liker, posting the same photo over and over and over with a handful of maybe 4-5 different captions in a hashtag.

In our niche we gain attention by posting flyers in a hashtag.

They are using 10 accounts and 1-2 different photos. They post for about 12 hours a day every 10 minutes on each account with the same 1 or 2 pictures over and over.

How is this not getting blocked? Any thoughts on what they might be doing? Using a certain type of proxy?

See that's the thing is they've been doing it for months. Since December 2016.

hahaha interesting strategy, so instead of getting the top 9, they instead are flooding the entire feed for that tag. What a creative way to "win"

Heres the reason its not caught yet....

1. Although the photos look the same, there are slight changes - the M5 hash is changed, or maybe there are random pixel manipulations, invisible watermarks, etc... To us it looks identical, to the IG server they look completely different... I'm not sure if IG uses facial-recognition technology yet - that would see that both photos are 99% the same and set a flag - but your story leads me to believe, this is not the case.

2. Different Hashtags and hashtag orders look like different captions to IG Server example.

#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 is different than #2 #3 #4 #5 #1 is different than #1 #2 is different than #1 #2 <3 #4 #5

etc etc etc...
