I'm struggling on exactly how to ping pages on other people's blogs that I have commented on. If I use pingomatic or pingoat, do I enter in the url to the main blog or the url to the specific post to make sure it is crawled again and my link is discovered?

What are some techniques for pinging someone else's url so your link on their page will get picked up when you are in the midst of a backlink campaign (i.e., referral spam, blog comments, etc.)? Do you ping all of the services or just one or two favored ones? Any tools that will help?
