Hi All, I am interested in buying exact match domains for medical services in my local area. Currently, Yahoo Local shows up top for these searches. What are my chances of beating out these results? Is it worth trying? Thanks!

How are local search google map listings generated within google web search? internet marketing bristol yields no map results within the web search (yet there are loads of results if you search in maps) however a term such as plumbing yields 7 results in the web search alone...

I hope someone can shed some light on this. Does the location of where your website is hosted have an impact on that websites position in the local search results? For example, if my site is hosted on Hostgator in USA, but im trying to rank #1 on a local search term in the UK. Thank you.
