Pretty sure Adblockers killed this website and it is no longer profitable to run it.

Lemme give the last kick it while its going down. Full of malware, popups, and extremely annoying site. Hope others learn the lesson. Use catbox or something. Nothing of value lost.
 
I knew zippyshare as that was what @proxygo always used to upload proxy lists too! lol

However, you have been visiting in less and less over the years, as the arguably very simple formula of the services we offer is slowly running out of steam. I guess all the competing file storage service companies on the market look better, offer better performance and more features. No one needs a dinosaur like us anymore.

So they've changed/added nothing to the site for years and still expect to be profitable? Adapt or die on the internet, looks like they chose to die.
 
You can use jpg, png or limited animated gif’s, the refresh rate on any graphic or text within the gif should not be less than 3 seconds

They are also unwilling to continue Zippyshare due to factors like competition, falling revenue, inflation, etc. Saying adblockers are the only reason to shut down the platform will not be accurate. I am saying this after reading their blog posts, which were not frequent as they needed to be, copywriter claim was also outdated. This is why it's important to innovate with time. We get advanced features with other file-sharing platforms, people even pay for their services without a doubt. You can say simply it's a failure of earning modeling which becomes outdated. Possible now they are working on something new or a better version of zippyshare under a new brand. don't know just speculation. Other than this lot of legal obligations in their functioning process.
