Zango - MediaTraffic CPA's and tracking

I am also looking to expand into adware traffic, can someone recommend a good site/ebook on the subject of advertising with MT, Zango, etc?

Dakairo,

For MediaTraffic just grab their pixel and have the network place it on the confirmation page of your offer.

Is there any explanation anywhere of how this works? I've heard about getting a network to place MY PIXEL on the landing page repeatedly, but how does this work when thousands of affiliates are sending traffic to the same page?

Thanks for any help understanding this.

Forget about the pixel thing if you don't have control over the landing page. Just add "keyword and vurl", each in its own set of "{}&{}" to the end of your affiliate url to track your conversions by checking the subids when you login to your affiliate network.

Ok, a tracking pixel is provided in a url format to you by an affiliate script or software that you have previously installed in your hosting account under a domain name, the script provides the stats and data based on the traffic and impressions etc you are generating in your promotion efforts.

The pixel is to be placed in the landing page ideally on the page where a sale is generated, this way you track your sales and you can compare to your cpa network stats.

Let me know if you need anything else

:)

can someone please explain what a "tracking pixel" is? Thanks.

Media Traffic specifically and Zango just do not have the technology such as Adwords. If going for domains, I will show you an example.

Let's say www.cashadvance.com

In Media Traffic you are going to show for the keywords cash, cashadvance and advance

cpamaster, question for ya.

If you put the URL in quotes, will it just show for whats in the quotes not what you mentioned above.

I had no idea that it would pull apart the keywords in a URL and show for even 1 occurance. That can really kill a campaign quick, and is probably why i had so many bombs when I thought I had some solid keywords

Is there any way around this? i.e. "phrase match" I thought I saw that feature in MT.

Also, how do you track at the KW level in MT? I cant figure out how (aside from using pixels)

It would probably be too much to setup a seperate campaign for every target phrase or keyword.

Your thoughts?

Thank you.

Zango will kick you in the butt ... and after a month of using a campaign they'll assume you're successful and you'll find the following message:

"We are sorry but you can not use this campaign anymore as we closed an exclusive deal with this company"

In other words, thank you for showing us what converts ... so you might wanna keep tracking to yourself when it comes to buying traffic .......

this is what gauher chaudhry talked about. but he made it sound like "i've only heard, not from personal experience.."
wow, if they do this, that is freaking shady!!!!
they deserve a swift kick in the nuts!
i will not be joining them. lol.

i want to run PPV campaign but can not find out how to be successful in PPV, can anyone suggest any good thread or ebook to start with?

I need an ebook on it too.
So are you guys all in agreement then that we should not be using traffic pixels at all and should instead be asking our networks if they use sub id's and just track that way?
