According to me, it depends on the niche you are in. If your content is more spicy or entertaining people every day, my suggestion is to go with youtube. Or it is something related to the information, news, sports, etc, Blogging is the best choice.

The mentioned niches are just examples. You should analyze it deeply before you choose.

I'd suggest YouTube. I run a few cash cow channels and earn good money from the ad revenue + affiliate marketing + dropshipping all linked to those channels.

Can't tell what is easier but video is the future. People are getting lazier, no one's going to spend time on reading stuff when they can just listen/watch.
