edit: i think you might mean in the case of you buying bots in which case its would be very costly. i botted my channel to monetization with a £1.77 investment. and that isn't an exaggeration.

the next thing you will want to do after extracting them is you should delete them. you will get your channel banned, or the views will drop after a month. since you are self admitting to being a noob, i doubt you have proxies, so the bot will be even more useless to you.

Seems like your highest cost is the bandwidth. I may have a tip for you.. Check all web requests when you send views and find a way to filter all the video-loading requests through a cheap datacenter proxy (which you can get for 0.12 per GB: https://brightdata.com/pricing/proxy-network) and all other requests (ads, trackers, ..) which Youtube uses to determine if you're real - you route through a high quality Mobile (or RSDL) proxy.
Most of the data is consumed by loading the video content, so with this set-up you'll route all that data through your datacenter proxies. You can then afford to use the highest quality proxy to load the ads, trackers, ..

Yes, I think that is what the user in the other thread did. Don't think he planned to find out about how bots work by buying them, but that way it can be very costly.
that's impressive. Did you write the bot yourself and if so, do you have a background in coding/is it complex? I have basic Python knowledge that's enough for a bit of Selenium for scraping and similar stuff, but I doubt that would do the trick.
I've also built up a little channel recently that's close to hit monetization in a couple of days (cf screenshot) fully organically and it's a shame I wasn't aware of how well botting to monetization works until recently. Found a good bot for that though and might just get myself the lacking 250 subs, not sure though because I'm not in a rush.

thanks. yes i have a background in programming. not too compilcated, just need experience in relevant fields. all of my programs were written in .net. selenium works. api bots are ideal if you can do them right. i have written lots of tools to help me with youtube. with the api bot, i can add millions of views in a matter of hours. its much faster. not that i do, there is no point in doing that.
you can do it with next to no data transfer. just stop the video from playing, the last time i checked youtube don't check if you are actually communicating with googlevideo. i wrote a browser extension that reduced data usage in many ways to negligible.

And for the api bot (asking because I'm lacking the technical background): Why would there be no point in adding millions of views, do they not stick? And in case they should, have you ever considered opening your own youtube-specific smm panel that sells only the service and not the bot itself/why is that not a good idea? Seems like something that would make sense at first glance
my channel pulls in millions of views a week from shorts to im fine in terms of algorithm standing. i got my channel monetized not using the api bot, i wrote the api one for fun. so theres nothing for me to gain by using it, especially since i haven't looked into getting monetized playbacks with the api bot.
they stick as long as they aren't all from the same ip (yes i did that to test, channel wasn't banned, just 99% drop after a day). you can get away with a surprising amount from the same ip. i had 50k botted views from a range of maybe 10 - 100 ip addresses (don't know for certain). they stuck for a months but dropped thereafter (that was an accident i thought i was obtaining unique addresses, can't really elaborate more). but they are still useful in terms of ranking, it will give your video a boost for that month (100% in search and maybe other areas if your bot is good) until the views drop. but by that time hopefully you've accumulated many legit views with your free botting! as for making an smm panel, i detest web programming. however its something i may consider in the future, but i don't currently see it happening. i'm currently working on a complete software suite for automating channel uploads, branding, descriptions, tags, more stuff, and simulated growth in some of my spare time. the money from this would far outweigh any profits form an smm panel. also smm panels are awful. they all resell each other, god knows where the services originate from. obviously i wouldn't be, however i would still be starting of with the negative connotations of being an smm panel, so theres my two cents on that.

It's interesting to see that so many of these actually stick and how well it works overall, seems like there would also be potential to develop it even further if you wanted in all the aspects you mentioned.
And for the suite, that sounds like way better of a plan than opening up an smm panel indeed. I'm sure it'll be a great software, and thanks for all the valuable info in this thread as well!

Yes that is very true, I'm still finding a way to generate youtube account in masses and farm once i master python i would create a bot and share. It might take years to come...If you did not used logged in accounts, very likely all your views will drop soon especially since they were monetized, so YT will double check them to protect advertisers (and themself). So, wait for a few weeks!
That's very true, I've seen crazy prices for bots and in fact, never really know if it is true or scam / virus.
I mean I have decent views 100~50 on average, I was thinking to add, "extra" traffic to boost the algo or something to get feature on key words what do you think?
Not totally purely 0 views content 90% bot traffic maybe 20% of the views were bots.

It's dangerous you can try to use it for a little boost on to your video views / watch hours. Don't go 100 threads and free proxy...

I haven't really looked into how this bot behaves, but if anything it will hurt you in the algorithm and risk a ban. dont use it on any channel you remotely care about.

Quick question.
If a Youtube bot costs $650 for lifetime. Would you assume it was legit? Or would you expect it to be sold for more considering the profit you could make with your own private method?
depends, what are they promising? are to taking into account the cost of proxies and a vps or the power bill to run it? do you struct applications from shady people? there are many things to take into account. is no one has vouched for them be careful.

And yes this is the cost without vps, proxies, gmail accounts etc.
as in vouching that it works. if there is no evidence of other users purchasing it then i would be careful. if you are determined to pay for a bot, at the very least get them in a discord voice call, check they aren't a kid / indian reselling github code, and make them screenshare it working. i guess that's just personal preference but if i was selling a bot i would be 100% up for doing that, so if they aren't then i'd be at least a bit wary of the seller. you could also ask for a small sample of views to be added to show that they are serious.
Honestly, It would depend on how they market it and I would be 80% skeptical cause if somebody managed to host and make crazy amounts off that program, why would he wanna sell it risking it getting patched. So yeah that's my take on it
