Youtube User Name Using Products Name :

I would like to know, is it illegal to use a brand/name product for our Youtube ID ?

For example, let's take the product "Product-XYZ" (that I do not own of course).

Can I use "Product-XYZ" as a Youtube user name, without any trouble, 0 legal problem ?

no it's not "illegal" but someone may ask you to remove it eventually

youtube is based in the usa so only usa trademark law applies.

So, stop me if I'm wrong... let imagine I cannot use trademarks in my user ID, it will implies that we cannot use it in (let's take TMProductA as the example):


- Blogs, articles, URL's (like http://www.products-reviews/TMProductA.htm)
- Videos titles, descriptions, videos itselves
- affiliate marketing
- Actually, we couldn't use it at all when we think about it...

So what are the particular cases when we cannot use TradeMark ?!
Because right I'm reading the TM law applications and, grateful to my splendid English lol, I don't undesrtand those technical terms.

Where and when cannot we use TM.... that is the question...
