YouTube Premium with your friends, possible?

I have a question.

I would love to use YouTube Premium, but it's way too expensive for what I need.
(I need to download the videos and to listen in the background). Currently, I use other iOS apps that are doing this, but they really suck (ads, freezes or some little bugs etc.).

Now I've seen there is a family package for 17,99 Euro. That would be great because I have two friends that are using YouTube all the time.

Do you think it's possible to use it like in Spotify with no problems at all?

One of the friends has a big YT Channel and fears that he could lose his channel somehow. Possible?

I'll answer you straight. It's little bit risky with regards to sharing youtube premium. Yes, you may face problems with your account.

If you want to use youyube on baxkround while using the phone for other stuff, its a simple tricky thing you can do.
Just open youtube not from the app but from the browser and thats it.
If you want to download videos therr are planty of apps that can do that.

Which browser are you using? With safari it's not possible. But however in my gym I don't have any signals, so I'm downloading the videos all the time. So I need both...

I have tried it on Chrome (android). Works fine

But why can't you simply download videos on your phone (as it already has such function) - they don't store much space and it's very useful in order not to spent your mobile network.
