youtube or facebook,which network is better for paying ads

we have some budget for buying ads to promote our b2c store,but we need to focus on one social network,so we decide to choose from youtube channel and facebook ,but still don't have experience on these two channels.so guys which channel is better for buying ads to promote a b2c store or sports product?really appreciate your suggestions.thanks
