YouTube Money Making Idea

So ive been an info hoarder here for some time now and wanted to know what you guys thought of my idea and if it has been done before.

Basically I got the idea after browsing youtube channels that offer full lenth movies there.

I would create a youtube channel and upload a movie trailer with the tile such as "Watch latest movie here free" but would have the title of said movie. But when they click on the video I would direct them to the download link in the description where they can download the movie and watch it. the second part involves actually downloading movies and uploading them to a file share site so I can profit from the downloads.

Is this possible? what are your guys thoughts or ideas on this.

Also I was thinking of using a VPN in the process of doing this bc I feel downloading a lot of movies over period of time may draw suspision form who ever.

Would i be better suited by doing a pay per view type thing and creating a movie website?

EDIT: Would i be able to monetize a movie site with ads?

This is called PayPerDownload (PPD). Lots of Tutorials and Journeys are available. This could be very successful but needs devotion and hardwork.
 
I doubt any legitimate company is going to pay you for trying to monetize copyrighted content..
 
Second what hello said, if the company find out your working with copyrighted material. That is going to result in a ban eventually most likely.

This is a PPD method thats been around for years.

Yep, I've seen this done a ton before.

You can try it if you want; there's obviously money to be made here. Not sure how much though.
 
a lot of people are already on youtube doing exactly what you are doing.

ahh..i remember the good ol' days when you could watch almost any movie and show on youtube (it would just be in like 20 different parts)
