I've experienced this as well in Google last month. I was diagnosed with a labral tear in my hip by my doctor and he told me I will get an MRI scan.
I did not Google anything on it before, but when I opened Google and typed 'does' it suggested something like 'does injecting contrast for MRI scan hurt'. I was literally mindblown lol..

Facebook is definitely listening through the mic on our phones. The latest happened to me a few days ago, I drove by a white Camry and told my wife, "Check out that Camry right there. Looks nice. I'd get it." she looks at the car and says "wow it got a red interior?"
Literally 2 hours later I go on Instagram (Facebook handles their ads) and I see a white Camry with Red interior being advertised to me. Like wtf!? I didn't search it, she didn't search it. We just talked about it out loud.

When you download the FB/Google Apps to your device, you are granting a permission to your Device microphone.
In your case, you was just thinking in your mind about a song and aint talk about it so they can't hear. but probably because you think of it too much, you dreamed about it : you were talk about it from your sleep so your mobile microphone were listening. or your smart tv? maybe

This is not mind reading, and it has been indeed a common feeling for people on FB, but the truth is that you were thinking in it because something influenced you to think in it, and most likely that something was inside the same network, so when the algorithm shows it to you it was already likely that you were thinking on it
