Youtube Journey to Backpacking the World

So the past couple days have been pretty good! Yesterday about half of my videos went down, however, I still had my best earning day yet at $85. Yesterday I reuploaded all of my videos and then created 6 new ones, duplicated them and uploaded them. I now have a total of 136 videos. I just checked though and 10 of the videos I reuploaded have died again already. I don't think any of those 10 are anything worth fighting for though so I may just forget about them.

Anyway, yesterday's earnings was about $50. Today I'm already at $25 and would really like to see triple figures!

Anyway woke up today to check on my videos only to find that 58/136 are alive. Going to reupload them and hope they stay up.

I was hoping yesterday was going to be a $100 day, but since my videos most likely went down sometime yesterday I ended up at about $60. Hopefully it will happen soon though. Going to make some more videos in the next couple days and going to reupload all my videos today.

Back once again! I'm really not that great at keeping this thing updated.

Anyway, in the past 4 days I reuploaded all of my videos and uploaded 20 new ones. In total in these past 4 days I made about $215. The offers I was promoting aren't doing too great anymore so I am working on finding some good offers.

Today has been off to a pretty bad start. I checked my email while still half asleep and thought Paypal locked my account. I ended up submitting my Paypal and credit card info to a phishing scam which I realized as soon as I clicked submit. Changed my password and then cancelled the card so hopefully that's all that needs to be done.

As for some good news, I got around to opening up a savings account, which I have nicknamed "Future Travel Fund". It currently only has $25 in it but I will be contributing about 5-600 soon which will feel awesome! I probably won't hit my goal by this November like I intended, but I have another friend that wants to do the same trip NEXT November. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. In any case, I will most likely visit the original friend in Brazil for the World Cup and then also hit up the Carribean and Mexico with him.

$500 deposited into the travel fund! Feels great! Only $19500 to go lol.

Past couple days totaled out to around $90. I found a decent offer to run so I'm going to see how it goes. Boosted a few videos today as well. Not really too much going on at the moment, but I am going to be making tons of new videos soon in order to hit my June goal of making a consistent $100/day. I think if I make another 100-200 videos I could be seeing those figures in no time! It's Friday tonight, and usually I would be having a few wobbly pops, but I think I'm going to try and get to bed early tonight and get up in the morning and hash out 10 new videos.

Anyway, I knew May was going to be the month everything started falling into place, and it really has. I kind of expected to be at $100/day by now, but I know with a little more work I can hit that goal in no time, and will hopefully be shooting for $500/day soon. "Goals are just dreams with deadlines," and I plan on achieving all of my goals.

So basically you create and upload the videos, they get taken down usually within 1-2 days, and then you reupload all the same videos? I wouldn't hvae a problem doing that each day for those earnings.

How many niches are you promoting? Are they gaming?

Great journey thread by the way!

In the beginning I couldn't get my videos to stay up but now they do. Most of them have been up for 2-3 weeks now. Some still die here and there but really only had one huge sweep of my videos getting deleted recently. All my niches are gaming and each niche I do 2 videos. I just make one video but then duplicate it and give it a different title and stuff. Right now I have about 150 or 160 videos up, not sure exactly, so that makes out to be about 75-80 niches.

Well, I failed to get up early today. I might have time to get another 5 or so videos done but nothing major. Yesterday's earnings sucked. Only made $19, but luckily today I've already surpassed that. I'm going to try again tomorrow to get up early and get some more videos done as I would like to have 150 more videos up by the end of the month, meaning I need to make 75 new videos. This will be double the amount of videos I currently have, and I believe it will earn me more than double what I currently make, simply because some of those videos may or may not take off more than other videos.

Sometimes I amaze myself. Just got done making 15 videos in only 2 hours. So now I have 20 niches which need landing pages and upload details. I'll be doing this either tonight or tomorrow. Since I duplicate all my videos I will be uploading a total of 40 new videos! Can't wait to see what happens when I get these online. If I keep this pace up I might be able to upload more than my month's goal which would be fantastic.

How are you making your videos now? Are you downloading and then uploading other videos or are you making your own new videos?

Also are you making a new landing page for each niche or are you using the same landing page for everything?

Yes I make my own videos. I also have a very general landing page but make slight changes for each niche.

Anyway, 99% of my accounts have been hacked. The links have been changed to cleanfiles links. I honestly have no idea how it could have happened. The only software on my VPS is MVB Pro and u2bviews. I also haven't logged into the accounts in over a week and they just got compromised yesterday/today. I don't think they could have been brute forced because the accounts would have been locked after a few attempts.

Anyway I guess I'll have to get some new accounts and rebuild. I'm going to try a new provider first and see if they get compromised. If that's the case then I guess my VPS has been compromised, if not, well then I guess all is good.

Thanks man. I just sent a PM to hellohellosharp. Hopefully he will ban that asshole, but it won't matter either way. Scum like that will continue to be scum and there's nothing we can do but keep moving forward with our own projects and forget about the scum bags out there.

Anyway, I ordered some new accounts yesterday and had them done with a list of custom passwords. Not sure if that will help at all. If the new accounts get hacked I guess I'll have to wipe my VPS and see if there somehow is a keylogger in there. The accounts should be coming in tomorrow so I will be reuploading all my old videos as well as the 40 new ones I've been waiting to upload. The only thing to do at this point is to stay positive.

My student loan repayment plan came in the mail today too. I'm going to apply for low income so that I don't have to pay anything including interest for another 6 months. Otherwise, I'm going to have to put a hold on the travel fund and start working on getting this thing payed off. It's only 10k, so I think I can handle that in a reasonable amount of time.

Anyway, I'll keep pushing forward and I'll come back to drop another line in here once I get my operations all back up and running. If the accounts don't come in tomorrow I'm going to still continue churning out new videos. I said I wanted 300 videos up by the end of this month, but this little set back is surprisingly making me want to work even harder than before. I can probably get 50 videos up in one day from start to finish if I really put my mind to it. Maybe even more as long as I can find the niches to do it.

Enough talk. It's time to reach out and grab all the cash I can from Youtube. One day I'll get into media buys and won't have to worry about sleeze bag hackers, but until that day comes, I'll be doing my damn best to make the most I can in my current situation.

Just finished another set of 15 niches, which adds up to be 30 new videos. Going to do another 5 niches tomorrow to make it another solid 20. That means I will have a total of 80 new videos to upload! I still need to do the landing pages for these new niches though. I also need to add all 40 into MVB Pro, duplicate them and give them all titles, etc... Going to be quite a long day tomorrow.

One thing that I want to ask though, after you upload the videos then you just leave it without optimize it like views etc etc..? I do not read anywhere that you enhance views to all of your videos..

I didn't boost the majority of my videos because in the beginning they got deleted too fast for it to matter. I do use u2bviews though and boost a few videos here and there. I want to try and boost more if possible.

I made my own custom landing page that uses php. I just pass different values in the query. I then have separate html files which get injected into the page based on the url. When I make a new landing page all I have to do is make some quick changes to a new html file.

Anyway, I was planning on getting up early today but it didn't happen. Accounts have come in though, so that's good. I'm going to get landing pages up for the 15 niches I did last night and then add everything into MVB Pro and get them uploaded. If there's more free time I will continue to make as many more videos as possible.

223 videos being uploaded. Fingers crossed they don't all get hacked again. I have a feeling they probably will though, in which case I'll need to have my VPS completely wiped and also either try a new account supplier, or start making my own accounts.

177/233 videos uploaded so far. Can already see some traffic coming in. Going to get the rest uploaded today and hope for the best.
