Google runs a speech to text program on all youtube audio. In a recent conversation with YT technical leads, it was made clear that this transcript, even if it isn't listed with your video, DOES contribute to SERPs on YT.
This is likely to be important to those of you who have mis-tagged or blackhat videos that launch into an ad pitch different from the tagged or labeled content.
