Youtube+Adsense Journey To $5k A month

This is a new journey, i have been reading and engaging in the youtube journeys here but they don't seem to last and the creators seem uninterested after the first couple of days so i would like to constantly keep this updated.

My channel is based on trending topics and what's in the news and what people are searching for...

My plan is to get the videos ranked on googles first page with news topics which is what is sending my videos semi viral.


I currently have 118 subscribers and i gain around 10 a day but i only upload 1-3 videos a day....

I currently make around $7.60 over the past 4 days, today i have earned $7.66 so far....

Thank you the best part of this is that i upload maybe 1 out of 3 videos and at least 1 goes straight onto google and i hope it stays this way because i am gaining more viewers/ revenue day by day.... Also i don't claim to be any Youtube pro by any means, but if anyone has any question please post it as i will probably have questions at some point as well and i want to keep this thread alive for as long as possible.

Also will start posting statistics images soon with GBP and USD earnings.

Following! Always interesting reading these YT journeys and you seem to know what you're doing. No success on Youtube myself thus far, but I hope it'll let loose. Do you produce the videos yourself or are you using creative commons?

I use both i create compilations from 5 sec videos on the internet and turn them into 2-4 minute compilations and cc videos when i need that video NOW and it can't wait, success with both sides, i think using cc videos is wise and as long as your decisive it can be used in your favor and will work out better than the original video....

When i pick cc videos the cc videos are titled EM20016 Footie trobe, takes quite a while to find quality videos but once you find them you can essentially make these videos go viral and that's what i do at the moment. Make sure you pick a good title and a good generic description, nothing to much or to little just explain the video in your own terms and use your own keywords, don't nick them do your own research and you should see a huge increase in traffic.

I can say that you are truly on the right track. You therefore need to pull up your socks and keep doing a fine job. One thing I know is that the adsense is among the most well paying ads company today. It therefore means that when you have an opportunity like the one you have had, kindly be sure to protect it with both hands. be sure to make your videos in the format that confines to the SEO standards. This will help in improving the ranks.

I'd be very happy to see you reach your goal! If you don't give up too early, it looks ambitious but still possible! Good luck!

I don't use any networks just purely adsense at the moment and the videos are news related and trending, if the video goes viral then i do 1 video related to that video in the hope they go viral also which works most of the time but just have to time it right...
I want to create a website related to this Youtube channel to gain even more exposure/revenue...

I put together cc videos never take videos from news sites they always get claimed instantly, but what i do take videos some times if it's appropriate because it's easier to steal content from small Youtubers with only a small amount of views but on videos with different angles so it doesn't look like it's the same video once you have edited and compiled other stuff onto the video...
If i went out and filmed news related stuff with a decent camera this would be a $50k+ journey and if i had the investment to do this i would in an heartbeat.

As promised i will keep my journey updated!

Yesterdays earnings were $15.93 which is good considering it has been getting higher and higher each day...

Before anyone tried and dismisses this journey i thought i would include proof today as everyone loves numbers!

I have removed stuff like rpm as i am aware it is against their policies to include that information otherwise i would had done.



My Game plan for today is try and gain a wider audience for my gaming channel and i am using E3 as a way to gain these viewers I already started this yesterday but didn't really gain much viewers so today i am going to plan a bit before and hopefully i will break even. I will keep everyone posted and updated on if this new gaming channel is a success or a complete flop...

UPDATE: Uploaded a new video on my main channel and feel like this new video will go viral first hour is always crucial in getting a video ranked and flying high!
I have another video planned for later which should go semi/viral, it's always about timing with my content and if i pick the right time it determines if the video gets 1k or 60k views.


UPDATE 2 Earnings are now at $4.22 the video i uploaded isn't performing as i hoped it would but hopefully once everyone is awake it will gain more exposure, i added some keywords as i forgot to add some priority keywords which is such an error on my part. Gained around 200 viewers in the first hour but this is more of a experiment anyways so hopefully the 2pm video does well.

Also will be uploading a gaming video tonight when i have more time as i am hands full on this channel for today.
