Your thoughts about Kumo

Members,

As you all probably know microsoft is working on a new search engine called Kumo.

Live search has some real branding problems and it seems they want to give it another shot with this one.

Are the seo guys here already working something out for it or do you care less.

This is exciting! This is new news to me, and I'm watching closely. Let's see if they can make a success out of this now, with their launch of Microsoft Windows VII being heavily anticipated, it's interesting.

hope they can make interface more clear, in yahoo and msn imo bad thing is that they have all kind of shit on their websites , google is just the search bar, and the links at top, its just easy to use and clear, this is what MSN should probably aim with their possible new SE

Well with every product launch there must be a Point of Difference. I can see that they have categories on the side which is good, although a tag cloud would be better imo. Simple is best though, hence why google search is my favourite.

the normal search results are still the same as Live according to the screenshots.
