YOU will never make it.

The internal dialog you have with yourself, is AS real as your physical hands.
You can be stabbing yourself, and not acknowledging it because you are asleep to the regular, repetitive things you "think talk" to yourself about life, people and expectations.

You need to be the captain of your own ship. It becomes easier if you have no internal sidekicks attempting mutiny.

The thoughts that "enter" your mind seemingly from nowhere are entirely yours and yours to control.
Just remember, the strong convictions you have today, positive or negative have come about through repetitions of your mind.

You can control it. Not by force, but by shedding the light of your attention on it.
Say, You have a shitty thought. You just need to "see" that you had a shitty thought.
Over an over and eventually, every time you have a shitty thought, your Rational, sensible brain will associate and assassinate the mutiny within.

That book will help you realize what is a shitty thought. - The First and Last Freedom- Jiddu Krishnamurti

by shedding the light of your attention on it.

YES! This is what it's all about. Patterns of thought are an unconscious habit. Only by becoming conscious of the patterns can they meet their resolution.

Until you "make it" they will always be right. Then when you do "make it" you have no friends or family left because you spent 95% of you time online. Its a brutal climb up the ladder my friend, but there is plenty of fruits waiting once you are there.

I am making enough money.I currently live with my parents and I make enough money to buy a house after six months. Lands are cheap in india as compared to tier 1 countries. Even if someone has a job (Engineer/Graduate), he makes no more than $300-400 per month. I earn more than him

I have passed 12th grade. No graduation

Fuck man, at least go back and graduate. That's like running a marathon and quitting after 25 miles.

And that retard Patrick Bet-David you mentioned above advocates for dropping out of COLLEGE. Which is easy for someone to say when they served in the Army and have that experience to fall back on.

You won't see many high-school-dropout success stories. Get a fallback.

I would say, estimate how many years you gonna possible live from here on.
Write down the to-do list. It might be 'Becoming Millionaire', 'Fucking Bitches' anything.
Now go fuck'n do it. Just be smart on your way!

What's with all the depressing threads lately?

We are drifting away from spiritual and our search for something that fills the void depression is the only outcome.

OP I would suggest you connect to something spiritual whatever religion you want to believe in, faith based, fact based. Believing in something higher and more powerful than yourself is a very important part of being human. Disconnection from it is the root cause of misery. We crave to serve something bigger than us, no amount of money can fill that void.

I agree absolutely. Money will never fill that void. I'm just trying to find a balance of meditation/self-reflection and action. That second part is something I've always struggled with.

Most of the big names , success stories are high school and college drop outs. Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Dave Thomas , Larry Ellison, Michael Dell just to name a few

You could start with doing some charity work, you will be amazed by the kind of people you connect with, the motivation you will get out of it , people will look up to you, and you will in return start feeling that you are making a difference and that serving something bigger than yourself will in return cause you to look at your own goals in a different light. Success is only an illusion. Whats normal to spider is chaos to the fly. bBeing able to do something you enjoy , while being around people you love, some will call that epitome of success.

Fixed that for you. There exists something called survivorship bias, which is: "the logical error of concentrating on the people or things that "survived" some process and inadvertently overlooking those that did not because of their lack of visibility." (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivorship_bias)

You're not going to see the articles about the high school and college dropouts who did nothing with their life, because what is the point?

In fact, the Wiki page has a paragraph specifically about this:

"Whether it be movie stars, or athletes, or musicians, or CEOs of multibillion-dollar corporations who dropped out of school, popular media often tells the story of the determined individual who pursues their dreams and beats the odds. There is much less focus on the many people that may be similarly skilled and determined but fail to ever find success because of factors beyond their control or other (seemingly) random events.[7] This creates a false public perception that anyone can achieve great things if they have the ability and make the effort. The overwhelming majority of failures are not visible to the public eye, and only those who survive the selective pressures of their competitive environment are seen regularly."

Same story here, I just not able to focus on anything, My main problem is i have no degree, Was fucked up because never understand math, and education system is shit here, you wont get theatrical knowledge, all you need is read books whole year and print it on answer shit, I tried 2 time more but failed both time in math and science i left it after thay, now i'm doing job which i don't lije but have to do it because i have no extra income, now want to learn IM but not able to focus on any 1 thing, like First i tried on YouTube but left it because i though i will make it better on graphic design, started learning Photoshop, left it and started YouTube again after reading some successful stories, than again left it and started learning Blogging, made 3-4 site by just thinking that i will get traffic from Facebook by some tricks but failed now Friend created App for me so i can earn $3-5 daily and Focus on any one thing

Most not Some. There are very few bigger than the ones i named. Also i did go to uni and If I could go back id rather use that money I wasted on something else. Dont confuse education with schooling. My home country is full of MBAs doing petty jobs because the market is over saturated. Especially in US unless you have the luxury of your mum and dad paying for your education, by the time you finish you are neck deep in debt and spend the good part of your life paying it off. Just because you get a degree doesnt mean you're going to make it any different than if you didnt have that degree. You would still most likely be doing jobs you hate for the rest of your life. Dont give me your indoctrinated nonsense.

That sounds like a personal issue with the concept of higher education. Don't let individual pixels paint the entire screen for you.

I am already an exception to your idea. I'm in the US, and I have a college education. I graduated with zero debt, because I did well enough in high school and gave enough of a shit about college to obtain enough scholarships to pay for my four-year education. No athletic scholarships, no mommy and daddy money, just six months of hard work applying for hundreds of scholarships.

My argument was about high school education. College is postsecondary. If you don't have an extraordinary skillset or a world of experience in a trade, not obtaining a high school diploma in a modern country is going to be a rough life ahead. Most trade schools require a diploma at the least. There is a reason that the majority of fast food workers are teenagers.

I'm curious, did you graduate university? If so, what is your degree in?

BBA marketing. And your assumption is wrong, i am all for education, Im not for schooling by selling your skin. Also Im not talking about high school. Go to a developing country and say Im a highschool graduate people will laugh at you. Its a given you should pass highschool, its not even considered a big achievement by any means. Im talking about university level education (degree) not highschool.

Its not a personal issue its a fact. Having a degree doesnt mean you will be a success. No one can refute that point. Making it depends on the person more than what papers he holds. Id rather earn little and do something i enjoy than work my entire life doing something i hate. On your deathbed you wont hear anyone say I wish I could spend another day working for that big man.

I was however quick to post my reply. For my son I will try my best to get him to finish university, not just for the degree but for the experience of it. That experience is probably more valuable than the end result.

I will do what I feel like. Who are you to advice me. Even if I fail in this, I can say that I did what I wanted to do. I am king of my own world now. And by the way, how many graduates are successful. Graduating and getting in debt is bad idea. And the person you are calling retard is a billionaire. You don't have any rights to advice others until you become successful in that field. You are neither successful nor educated. Take my advice and grow up

Totally agree here.

If you're young, finish high school. Get into college. You might learn something even if you have lots of money. It's a fallback. There are many stories of people with money they thought would last them a lifetime but lose it.

You just gotta realize that almost everyone you meet and deal with deep down is miserable. They take a lot of their pain, regret, and insecurity out on others, mostly on those who have a big dream or abstract way of living. They will try to instill doubt and fear in you to bring them down to their level of thinking, it makes them feel lame and shitty when someone they know has their own business or idea and is working towards it.

I constantly have family asking me if I'm going to school or get a job soon, and I just tell them "no fucking way" with a big smile on my face, as I count up my money. They sometimes make jokes about how I wake up late and try to shame me a bit, but I only wake up late because I can, and because I sleep at like 4am every night :D.

They know I make way more money than them, while working only a quarter of the hours, they just try to make me feel bad for not having a normal life. People are shitty, stop giving their words any merit, UNLESS they have achieved what you want, then you gotta listen.

To be successful you have to ignore the negative people, pay attention to how unhappy they are, don't listen to them or else you'll end up like them.

You just gotta realize that almost everyone you meet and deal with deep down is miserable.

Yup, that really messed with me growing up. Was adulthood really that miserable? Everyone around me told me how hard life was about to become, and I never saw what the big deal was.

The whole notion of 'working hard' in life implies that suffering is part of the equation. Somehow those two things became conflated.

Going through life with that mindset is not for me.
