Yoast Video Plugin with WP-script?

I have yoast premium as well as yoast video installed as plugins on the base WordPress site. However, yoast video doesn't pick up the embedded videos from WP script automatically in the video sitemap. Wp-script staff recommended that I use embed as the field to look for videos in but it hasn't worked. Before I go down a wormhole here hey, does anybody have any advice or a fix for this so that I can display my embedded videos on my video sitemap?
