Yoast Seo Problem!!

I'm having a problem accessing my sitemap. It's showing internal server error 500 . The strange thing is that i can access for example /dt_links-sitemap1.xml that is a part of sitemap.xml but can't access the /sitemap.xml itself ..

Did you try re-generating the XML?
1. Disable the XML sitemap from the Yoast panel
2. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click save
3. Enable the XML (Yoast)

Nope , that didn't work.
Still getting error 500.

Have you tried /sitemap_index.xml ?

From memory, if you're getting all categories, tags etc. added to the sitemap, this will be the top level map.
