No problem at all, but those people are acting like a sort of "guru", like they made all the research etc. all by themselves...just to sell online courses later. So basically they take the work of other people to get themselves a name just to sell courses etc. later on. Another part is I don't see these "gurus" giving credit to the original sources. Its more like "Oh look what I found out by myself and how genius I am" than " Xyz made the research and I want to share it with you" big difference

Only reason I use Yoast is to easily change meta descriptions. Some of my best posts are all red :eek:
 
I just removed it from all of my 10 blogs. I was thinking that this could happen and it really did.

Neil Patel nor Yoast are fakers. All they do is gather a bunch of other content, rewrite it and post it under their own name.

Basically you get some very concentrated, high-quality content. After all, these articles are often created out of several source-articles whereas the source article exists out of just one source and one persons point of view on the matter.

Whether this is ethically justifiable remains a question. If you however aren't the writer of the source articles the only question for you to answer is:

Do you feel okay with reading somewhat 'stolen' content or not?

And even if you don't feel okay, can you really blame yourself? I mean, if I just read the article on the Yoast site without having seen this thread - I would have no clue it was 'stolen' / rewritten content.

As a reader I wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. The articles are of high quality and are very informative. As a writer of an original source-article I would be very frustrated if he didn't cite me and I would put a lawyer on it since it is blatant plagiarism, but... I am not so I am not worrying about it from that perspective.

same as Steal Patel (who is doing the same. Check his guides and you will see how similar they are. He does not make original content, he just takes 10 sites and merges the content together and rewrites it. He does not have his own opinion.

Actually he also steals content. Not only the rest of his posts are just re-written but he also steals 100% of the content from other blogs.

There are numerous reports that he has done that.

Guess BHW generates a lot of traffic. Twitter tells me “Sorry, you are rate limited. Please wait a few moments then try again.”

Anyway, someone’s MA theses should be re-examined.
 
I got rid of yoast for a while, it's full of ads and slow as fuck. Also their last summer mistake fucked up one of my site real good.
 
yoast app free version enough, if you no how to set the correct settings itself, it only an app, the correct settinges where your skills should be.

so what, they get board writing articles, who cares.

only 33% world use it ,and it works.

only a full would run away from a app , over article stealing , happens every day.

like it been said above , if you no seo and how to setup everything to work dont need it .

i use it because i find it quicker then doing it all manually ....

Looking up and reading what others have done is researching.
 
Many authoritative sites recommend Yoast and wordpress lacks several features. This is the only reason a lot of people use Yoast. They should have asked the original author to writer the research as a guest post with a link to their site instead of stealing content.
I never find any article or video of Neil Patel helpful. He only says all the time to beg other webmasters for links and he doesn't even know that it doesn't work for most niches. I guess he pays several other sites to praise him. And once you become an authority, everyone agrees no matter what you speak.

I'm not sure why people are referring here to the Toast Plugin. I did not even mention it and this thread is not about it. It's more about fake authority guys and all they are doing is stealing other guys content.
 
That's a very bad action from Yoast, it will losebthe trust of users. Actually, it is the best plugin for the on page seo but if it is not trust worthy, we can do it all manually. A real SEOer already knows all the things that should be done and he can set the keyword density by other tools...
