Yelp in Serps?

Doing some research on local based services and for some instances I'm seeing branded yelp pages being ranked #1 in organic listings. Is it easy to outrank them? For example: "bobs plumbings" yelp page is ranked #1 and their own site is ranked #4.

Also If I send some HQ links to my clients branded yelp page will it also have a chance of ranking high in organics?

I came across this several months ago, when buying some domains that had links from Forbes, CNN, NYTimes, etc. The seller sent me some examples for pages on those sites, where links to expired domains were redirected to a Yelp page for a dental clinic in Mexico. I don't remember the details (could probably go back and look at the PM I was sent). The dental clinic did rank #1 on google for their business name, though.

you boost the yelp, via pushing web 2.0 at it or just make pbn ......

a webpage is a page , and boosting the page the same way you do with your own website is the same......

throwing good links at a yelp page will boost rank ....
