XRumer Questions and Answer Sess

Alright brothas. I finally made it big in the CPA/Internet Marketing world and can blow money on tools and not really give a fack. Been doing things the old fashion way for quite some time with resounding success...now it's time to ride dirty

I'm running SEnuke and messing around with Xrumer & Hrefer. I've read up on how to effectively and efficiently use Xrumer for quite sometime but would like to start a discourse. I've also read all posts here and elsewhere but wanted some discourse on my specific questions.

I'm mainly a financial CPA affiliate with deep connections in the financial CPA universe. I want to externally drive traffic to my throw away domains first and then work my way up the SERPS with my high ticket financial domains after I master the external SEO capabilities of Xrumer.

Now for the questions:

1.) I only want to post on insurance related blogs,forums etc. using Xrumer to begin with. How do I calibrate Hrefer to compile lists suiting just insurance related keywords.

2.) In terms of externally driving traffic rather than worrying about organic rankings at this point, what forum post model seems to be most effective. i.e. anchor text in sig...direct linking in body of post...re-direct in body of post from throw away domain to targeted domain.

3.) Would it be worthwhile to build out 10 or so Squidoo pages with links to my throw away insurance domain or should this wait till I worry about organic rankings and not simply driving targeted traffic.

Remember, I only am concerned with first driving targeted external SEO traffic and could care less about getting de-indexed. Will worry about working my way up SERPS on high ticket domains after I master the external capabilities of XRumer and Hrefer.

1.) its quite hard to get hrefer to really go for something specific even when telling it to just scrape "Insurance",

I would scrape your keyword/s then although tedious, sift through what it has scraped and delete any junk.. although this will be time consuming it will be worth it in the end.

2.) If your not bothered about SERPS at the moment Direct Link in Body (large Image) or Re-Direct. (or both?)

3.) This would be for SERPS, so no need for the moment.

Absolutely wrong way to get traffic, Xrumer is so powerful that you can drive organic se traffic to your domain but instead of this you are trying to get niche forum traffic.
If you want spam niche forums than make it by your hands you can spam 30 biggest insuarence forums by hand with more success than just using Xrumer.
Looks like you will be one of those guys who will tell that Xrumer SUCKS!

I don't recommend you to use xrumer to get traffic, since most traffic from it would mostly be webmasters and would not convert well.
I recommend you to try to master the seo aspect of it, this can be very powerful if done correctly.

2) To get really targeted links, don't use the buildin word collector in hrefer, its crapy, it will scrape irrelevant links.
Instead, you should go to adwords keyword research tool and put in your keyword then choose add all, also add the additional long tailed keywords, then pick up another related keyword and add all again.
After you're done, download it as text, and use it instead of the test.txt in the word folder in hrefer.
(Try to get a few thousands word into that list if you want to harvest a large linklist.)

By doing this way, you're links would be more targeted to your niche.

I'm also learning more about it everyday.

Feel free to ask, maybe we can exchange some ideas.

1) I bought a cheap set of video tutorials that also cover Hrefer. Sorry but I don't really know how to explain it without visually showing what I mean

2) Your thinking of just "advertising" the domain via post and have traffic to your site as "type-in" traffic, is that what you mean?

I personally find it most effective to "waste" the first post to test out the forums and then later adding a sig or in some cases an image hosted on my site that helps increse seo quality.

3) As far as this one goes, I don't know. I'd say if you can write articles good and fast, then why not.

If you're trying to use it for direct traffic generation, you're probably better off building a list manually.. the way Hrefer works standardly, importing keywords from your niche, you're most likely to end up with a list that's only 25% relevant to your niche. That means you'll have to tweak the program manually, or use it for it's main intent, link building.

This is a numbers game just like the SEO centric campaigns and it depends upon how much time and which resources are at your disposal. There is a very rudimentary trick where you just create a profile and let it sit for a week or so and then come back and change your signature, adding a link of course.

The problem with this is that while it's great for a long term link assuming a 2% survival rate it also gets wiped within hours before any user picks it up. So my solution is to combine it with a regular blast where you also create a post just after signing up and verifying so you have two different accounts on each forum.
