Why not? I do it all the time and see big increases to my website.
I just recently did a test with ONLY xrumer profiles to my money site on 1 keyword and I went from Rank 35 to Rank 6 for that keyword in less than 24 hours and I have been going from Rank 7 to Rank 3 back and forth for the last 2 weeks on it.

They dropped due to the fact that the Xrumer Profile blast's was the only thing I did last month
I don't normally do that but I gave it a shot to see what would happen if I only used one service and I suffered from it

You should blasts it consistently is the key.. But diversify backlinks also to your site.
like blog comment, xrumer profile.. Social bookmark.. etc..
The key is consistency, your website should be up again in couple of week with better ranking.

Well that big spike in rankings is just a few hours after I had the xrumer blast done. Be also aware that there are many types of xrumer blasts, and different things to consider when getting xrumer blasts.
1)Duplicate websites will have negative effects.
2)Malware sites will have negative effects.
3)No anchor text MAY have a negative effect.
4)Wrong anchor text MAY have a negative effect.
5)If any of your content is duplicate or low quality, you may have been "discovered" due to increased spider visits crawling all your pages.
6)Off topic blasts may have negative effects.
The links themselves are rarely the problem, but rather how they are done, and also if your site is quality enough to take the heat.

I didn't do a blast but just 200 profile links from pr4+ forums and my site dropped from #1 to #600+.

Like, if you are targeting "Cats" and you put in "Cots", I believe if you do too many links in the wrong anchor text, Google will not value your site so highly for "Cats", because it sees that you are now being linked to for "Cots" also, which must mean your site has something to do with "Cots" and not so much "Cats".
That is my opinion from some tests where I changed keywords in my backlinks strategies and noticed some big drops in some ranking, while getting big gains for others.

If used wrong, xrumer can negatively affect your site.
I've never had problems because I took the time to research everything and read up on some tutorials. And if you only did profile backlinks then that could be why you dropped a bit in Google. Focus on link diversity and you'll be fine.

I'm guessing most of the people on this thread dont even own xrumer, and are just parroting retarded ass "theory' that they have never even tested for themselves. To the OP: mix your linkbuilding with other sources of links and continue building links (xrumer links included). I would eat my fucking jock strap if your rankings did NOT improve after some time.
