WTF Google Search Changes?

For past few months or so I worked SEOing.. Videos, Images etc of my "Name".. My name is spelled uniquely and very specifically...

My name WAS when searched for many weeks showing on googles front page.. actually of course dominating as it should... Youtube videos.. Facebook page.. my website etc...

Regardless if I searched Google... using my android phone with Firefox.. Chrome etc all my stuff was on front page...

NOW strangely i'm getting totally different results.. I've cleared cache, browsers etc AND made sure I'M LOGGED out of my google account BUT...

I get TOTALLY different results, sometimes the Google results don't even show my videos, pics, site etc, when searching Google using my android w firefox, Firefox on my pc, chrome etc.

Basically the results are anything but consistent and for the most part my content is now only showing when searching my "name" from my PC using Firefox searching on Google.

Have I been penalized or is this the state of SEO these days where everything is going to be different?

Really appreciate feedback as I'm baffled.

You can get all sorts of 'personalised results' when searching with various browsers in Google, whether logged in or not. You need to use a keyword ranking tool - try Rank Checker extension for Firefox.

Dont tell me, hope Google did not give you a penalty on your name

Everyone thanks for the feedback.. will use rank checking tools but way I see it is when someone in my area checks using their mobile using google my stuff isn't coming up when before it was whether using firefox or chrome. ;-( that's really what I care about for now is mobile and PC in my area.

I do entertainment so I'm not concerned about nationally.. looks like an ad would be easier and better way to spend my time.
