[WTF] Fiverr sucks?

Sometimes (or mostly everytime) its very hard to satisfy everyone as different people have different needs and different mindset to accept certain things.

For example some people like google but others prefer yahoo.
Some people prefer BHW but other might go for warrior instead.

The conclusion is that everything will have an alternative. There will be many shops selling burgers but the differences will be on the quality, #of customer, price and etc...

For some of you who is unhappy with the way Fiverr runs it shop, they will always be an alternative for you guys but obviously there is a pro and cons (such as less traffic compare to fiverr)

I suggest you try gigme5 .kom as they copy the exact same method as fiver with a lesser service charges which is at $0.25 (if i'm not mistaken) compare to fiverr at 1 dollar.

Since all the pros people (and you need to compete with other gigster) and all the attraction are more towards fiverr, i prefer the alternative gigme5 because it is less competitive

*note: i do not have any relationship with gigme5 as my post a merely based on giving an option to other member so that they can put aside their unhappiness and try their luck elsewhere

OP, make some more Fiverrs and tag them with different things, then Ping the Fiverrs so you get to the top.

The worst idea is to make a gig on fiverr and promote it.
You invite all your connections to your gigs, they browse a bit and find a better offer than what you were selling. So you can only lose your clients trying to promote a gig.
Dont ever do that.

Well, I am so boldly saying so, because there are always scams out there hundredds adn thousands of them, who will always offer better deals no matter what. And this unhealthy competition just forces the sellers to get their prices lower and lower. Five bucks (after the sites revenue you get only $4), wasnt it already too low for adding 1000 twitter followers or something similar? Those who compete there are sick, or retarded or scammer.

Oh, of course, its neither good for sellers nor for resellers.
Some may say we can buy services from fiverr at a cheaper rate and then resell it elsewhere at a rate 5 times higher.. but mind that, the so cheap offers are affecting every industry and you will definitely lose a great portion of your sales no matter what you are offering.

For example, no professional designer can ever think of offering a custom logo design for mere $5. Its worth $50, $100 or even $500. Yes, there are sites offering similar packages. But because of the huge traffic fiverr is enjoying greater part of general people will gain access to cheap low quality design services. And eventually the whole industry will suffer.

Yes, fiverr gave opportunity to some casual part-timers AND scammers to earn some cash but it hurts many large industries.

One of the sellers I had a talk with used a picture of a really hot woman. Picture caught my attention, copy drew me in and the rest is history.

I have been on fiverr for 2 full weeks and have made $56 on 2 gigs and no promotion... Not so bad and my gigs only take 10 - 20 minutes to complete.
