[WTF] Fiverr sucks?

There is someone else wich coding for 5$/hour and he have great success on fiverr ( 100 orders i think ). BTW, i made 40$ on fiverr :D and i get new orders every day ( making logo, pshotoshop stuff etc. )

if you have earned $2000/month with fiverr, you will not say that fiverr sucks. i have earned $2500 so far, but now everythings gone! thats why fiverr sucks!

So now you can focus more on BHW :D Just kidding.

I have bolded your problem. You didn't even spell python right in the title....
I'm from Europe. English is not my native language. I can keep good spelling, but in this case everything is just for trial.

Aswell as that. What "good" programmer do you know will code for $5 for an hour. Especially a 1 hour job. Usually just getting the specs for a job from a customer takes longer than an hour.
In other words, let's presume you are a legit developer. You are too good to be true, and no one will buy from you.
I cannot tell more than $5 on fiverr, so 5 is just for a first hour. Sure this is not my usual rate.

try searching for "fast visits" on the forum,it will put you on the first page with the featured listings but i wouldnt bother if i were you,the people expect so much for the money & with fiver taking 20 % paypal 2 %,if you can code you would be better off on odesk or somewhere like that.

Finding/writing the right gig is key. I've currently only recieved orders from about 10gigs out of 30 i have put up. 2 of those 10 i get daily orders and takes me about 30seconds to complete each order.

Its just a numbers game i guess.

Fiverr is great for finding ppl to do logos and stuff like that. But I would never bother offering services on a site that cheap.

men we all wants to sell on BHW,but in BHW takes money in advance ,fiverr after your sales !

Its not worth the time, $4 is nothing, if your such a good developer code a tool for IM spamming botting or whatever and sell it here.

Not only that but from what I can see it isnt that easy to get orders. I personally find it easier to drive traffic to a clickbank page and profit.

that "trick" with fast visits stops working 2 months ago at least.

M*, my simple advice is to copy other peoples gigs ( the popular ones )and offer much more. when you got some customers and feedback I would then change the gig to make it easier to deliver.

you need to know how to use it, people are making more money with not offering gigs but ordering a few, combine them together and sell them as a whole package for a lot more (double, triple price or even more), just check the WSO what i shared in the dl section today

or here's another great idea from another forum, kudos to the OP:

"Quite frankly I've read way too many posts on message boards in the last week about people that cannot make any money using FIVERR.com. In every post I chimed in with the same piece of advice:

"Sell services one place, buy them on Fiverr. Dont do gigs."

And people still do not get it. There is even one person who thinks it is IMPOSSIBLE to make over a hundred dollars in a single day from Fiverr.

Well, I am going to spill the beans for you on exactly how this is done.

First of all what is the best value you can get on Fiverr for your $5? For me I would have to say content writing, any kind of data entry, audio, and live video.

So we are going to leverage that, audio namely.

Who can use audio? What are audio advertisements used for? Where can they be heard? That's right... on the radio!

So all we have to do is find some local businesses to call up or snail mail about our audio advertisement service. But before we go there... we are going to leverage one other thing. The radio station itself.

So while listening to the radio to research we need to take note of:

1) The industries still advertising on radio

2) What is going on at the radio station

Usually radio stations throw parties and events. THEY too need advertising. So what we are going to do is DRIVE to the radio station and meet them face to face. No hiding here.

Tell them you own a marketing firm and can help them advertise their events and parties on facebook. All you want in return is a discount on radio advertisement. See where this is going?

Now go back to Fiverr and order facebook fanpage creation for the radio station's party and order invites to the page. This should cost no more than ten bucks.

Once the radio station is happy and you get your discount now take your list of industries advertising on the radio and start calling all the companies that do not have ads up.

Tell them you have negotiated a special rate with the station in advance, and that you have a professional voiceover artist on retainer. Put a price on the package to cover your costs (fiverr for the voiceover, plus whatever the radio rate is, plus what your commission is) and let them know you will be calling all their competitors and only dealing with one per month. Or however you want to structure the deal.

As you can see, there are SO MANY ways to leverage Fiverr like that it is not even funny. I just wanted to give you this strategy because lots of people like to say it is impossible when really they don't want to work"

thanks a lot this a very useful, point to point information

Why everythings gone ? They block your account ?

they deleted my featured gig (legal gig - facebook service), they said that i got too many cancelations and negative feedback.. as you know all my negative feedback are from my competitors! they order your gig and give you negative feedback!

I really like Fiverr-- as a business owner, it allows me to "audition" people so I can hire them later for gigs. Even if the initial Fiverr is a loss-leading product (meaning you lose money the first time just to get the introduction), it can definitely end up being worth it for the contacts and future work.

Another part of Fiverr is completing that first gig and getting feedback so other people trust you. In fact, I am going to buy your first Fiverr right now!

Damn...So if i have few canceled orders i\m under radar ?

thats my experience, if you have lots of canceled orders (even mutual cancelations) fiverr will block your gig(s) or even block your account!

this statement isn't on their TOS!!!!

fiverr is the most rowerfull and famos site that offer people to do things for $5

is there any alternative to it?

i found many sites like that but all poor traffic

can any alternatives anyone?

There is much buzz around Fiverr. So I desided to try it.
I filled in my gig. Here you can view it http://fiverr.com/142408
BUT after one day only 10 people looked at it.
So I wonder why? And how to make my gig more visible

what i do is ping my gig 500 times with scrapbox and then my gig goes to the top of the category that i have place the gig in
