I would look at two things:
The reason the first point is important is if you are going to hire someone, you shouldn't be fooled. There are many bad writers, well at least there are more bad and unqualified copywriters than there are good ones. And the good ones cost 3-5 times more.
However, if you yourself are quite knowledgeable. You can easily differentiate useful information against the useless fluff many people seem to include, that is actually considering they are writing themselves. (which is again, something to keep in mind and check)
Another thing is, if you are ready to put in a lot of effort, especially in the beginning, it is better to write yourself. However, if you got 9-5 or any other thing that keeps you busy most of the time, and you can only commit for an uncertain period of time, then it is better that you hire, but only after you do thorough research and perhaps write a dozen articles to get an idea and basic understanding of the niche.
- How much knowledgeable am I in my chosen niche?
- How much afford can I put into it?

It depends if you are a good writer then its a good idea to write yourself if not paying for the writers

If you can spend some $ to save time, then you can go hiring good writers.
Or if you can write well at specific interval for regular posts, you can handle it on your own.

I have developed a mixed approach these days.
I have a great pool of freelance writers who have been writing for me for years.
I have given them access to the AI writing tools and taught them how to produce large content in less time.
This has increased my productivity.
So, I still outsource the writing work and improve productivity with the help of AI tools.

If you have a good budget and time, you can hire someone. Else you can write by yourself.

First few articles write yourself. You will get some experience. And then you will be able to get better work from content writers.
