Working for yourself is good or woking for a firm?

I know the answer that working for yourself is good but my condition: -

I love digital marketing so left my analytics job and started working for the firm which is a kind of startup and there is no mnc's privilege over here, you have to everything on your own.

Not living in hometown for this job so whatever I'm earning is getting spent in living life.

So should I start my own work at my hometown where I can save money or I should still work here because I'm earning knowledge and little bit experience over here?

Work from home is way better than having an office it saves rent,furniture, electricity overall money we can say.

I meant to mention saving money like if you another source of income you can obviously be more productive having an office and get your employees it makes you like boss self esteem you know.

Work for yourself be your own boss. If you earn today 100$ they are all for you not 30$ for you and 70$ for your boss.

No need to shake things up so quickly. If you are learning at your job and you like it, then stay there until you feel you are either (1) getting bored (2) not leaning anymore (3) not seeing any potential.

There is no "rush" to work from home, this can always be done at any point in time. But if you think you want to learn more from a (small) corporate setup, then go for it.

Yes I'm not going to take decisions asap I'll learn things here by working and till then I'll find something that going to be helpful for my work in hometown and simultaneously I'll start it and then pursue

To work for yourself is a great idea if you are hard-working and know what you are ready for.
I mean it's not as easy as it may seem.
Some people would love to work for themselves, but once they get this chance, they don't know what to start with.
It's personal time management.

When you work you are always working for yourself.

It's an exchange of your time, expertise, knowledge for something you want/ need/ value in return.

The question is, IMO...

"Shall I work for myself under the control of X whilst I gain Y (Y being experience, knowledge, safety, security etc) or should I free myself from the control of X and the benefits that X affords and take all the risks and associated rewards myself ;-)

Thanks for the answer a little bit complicated though but when I read it twice and totally understand it, when I'll get the answer of this thing then I'll be good to go by myself till then use the benefits via x and deliver them the best you can by which you can increase Y

Logically speaking, I choose a work or a firm in order to learn skills and get experience. I mean my ultimate aim is working for myself. When I get enough experience and it can't give me more knowledge or money, maybe I will look for a lager company or platform.

But what if you are getting learning and earning by working for someone and till the time you're getting you should be there then once it is stopped you can work by your own by the learning you have with you

OP am currently in the same situation as you are, and what i do is work for the firm and use its salary for forming my capital and getting all the stuff i need + the knowledge and contacts needed for a strong start on my own. all that shit a side, i want to be 100% sure i can do it before throwing my paying IRL job away

Experience is worth more than anything else. Money is worthless without experience. You lose out in the long term even if you win in the short term. Trust me, powerful lesson I learned this year.

No matter how great you are, there is a humbling experience that comes from seeing your temporary limitations.

As 50 cent said so eloquently: "The only excuse for being broke is being dead or in jail".

Working for a company, you are being paid to be in an environment where you need to perform and you can build your network piggybacking off a company's brand. Working for yourself offer different challenges. It just depends on you as a person.
