Work from home or Office?

What is more productive for you?

There has been a lot of debate lately as to which one is more productive

I am getting used to work from home and so far loving it as I get to do my tasks on time but I am thinking of getting office like setup

Hows it going for my peeps?
I thought it would be brilliant. But I’m not the type of person to bring my work home. And now I resent this corner of my house where my work laptop lives.

For me, Working from home is like a dream come.

No one to meet
No one to argue with
No one to get angry with
No one waiting for you

You choose your own time to work
You choose your own time to sleep
You choose your own time to eat
You choose your own time to drink(Milk)
You even choose your own time to pee and poop

I have been working from home since last 14 years and this is the only positive of my worldly life.

Cheers!

Company I work for said that they are seeing improvements while people are working from home.

Office is the best , at home you can't do seriously. If you are married and kids it's not easy to do. If you are unmarried than you can enjoy the work at home.

Lots of distractions at home but you are just doing freelancing or online management jobs, it's not a problem at all. But I would still prefer going to office and seeing your office flings would somehow motivate you to work more. lol

Work from home all day every day; it’s much more productive for me. As long as you have self-discipline and also if you have a dedicated / quiet place to work from at home.

In my opinion both fine for me but then I realized working from office is something different. Just went to office, sitting on comfortable chair, talking to colleagues, cracking jokes, talking about anything in world, all this makes me feel fresh time to time.

I miss these things at home. Only thing that sucks about working from office is waking up early in the morning and travel. :D :p
In fact, all my advisors, mentors etc - I met some of them from home, and still learned a lot from them, and managed to work productively together.

I have a room in my house that is my office room, that's the best thing that can be done.
If you try working on the same room you sleep/eat/etc you'll get burnout as your body won't differentiate work time from recreational time
Also you save a ton of time not working about driving

At home when I'm under time pressure and got no time to procrastinate > at work > at home

Also kinda depends on what I gotta do. Sometimes you really want those 6 hours straight focus time to get shit done, which is quite unrealistic to get when you're around your colleagues.

My dad rents out office spaces in a building and I am renting from him to work there privately. I cannot work from home properly, even though I have a good set up. At my private office, I am a lot more concentrated and can get a lot more done.
