Wordpress Youtube Mass Embedder [Free]

What it is?

This script allows you to embed 1000?s of youtube videos to your wordpress blog for 100?s of keywords.
Advantage:


  1. It?s absolutely free.
  2. It?s completely automated. Just enter the keywords for the video you want to search and it will automatically add videos to your blog
  3. Fetch up to 1000 videos per keyword.
  4. You can enter 100?s of keywords. Other RSS readers take one keyword at a time and fetch only 50 videos per keyword at a time.
  5. You can add around 5000 or more videos in a single run of ~45 minutes. You don't have to be around watching it.
  6. You can add 100,000 videos in days.
  7. Absolutely no manual configuration required.
  8. No limitation whatsoever.

Download it here View attachment yt_mass_embed.zip and just follow the few steps mentioned in Readme. And you are done.

You can create as many categories and add as many videos as you wish. I have a site up and running with around 300,000 videos. We don't scrape youtube pages directly so they'll not ban your site for sure:cool:

Default embed code of youtube is without autoplay enabled. And wordpress doesn't allow IFrame (with which autoplay can be enabled) to be placed in the blog. I'll see if there can be any workaround, but for the moment you have to live with it.:china:
 
it just embed the video right ? Is it able to embed the thumbnail also ?

It does support thumbnail option using meta. If your wp theme supports meta for thumbnail, then it will display the thumbnail. And it won't display thumbnail inside the post.

Try wordtube or WPtube. I've tried wordtube and it has thumbnail support.

Hey wpman,
if you rename the file name, you have to update the file like below.

in line 20 <form action="yt_mass_embed.php" method="post">
change the highlighted part to your renamed file name.

By the way, i'm using tweentyeleven theme for this test along with the wordtube pluing
I wonder which theme would look/work great with this ? Any ideas ?

Sad that we can't use adsense anymore on those kind of sites. While at it ? Any ideas on monetizing video sites like these ?

Good to know it worked and thanks for testing it. I've used wordtube theme and I don't know what's wordtube plugin.
I have seen sites like this using Google adsense, not sure about it. if not adsense any CPM will work for these kinda sites.

About the wordtube thing

Well it says to upload this into the pluggin directory and to active it ?????
Right now i see big videos with descriptions one underneath the other using the plain tweentyeleven theme (default if i'm not mistaken)

So there's a wordtube theme also ? Got a link please ? It will do like a porntube i suppose with smaller thumbnails ?

Start and End are the offset and end for the Youtube results. Sometimes you may want to add only the videos resulting from 1 to 50 and some other time you may wanna add 50 to 100 videos(youtube result). Actually it can fetch 1000 results for a keyword, so you can decide from which offset you want to add it. Hope you understood :-)

No I didn't mean to have a work around for videos that disable embed (by youtube) in other sites. Right now the when you post using this script, the default player will be shown on the post and auto-play feature is disabled for it. I will have to work work around to enable auto-play option. Hope you are clear now.
