Plugins are simply reminders once you are used to on-page stuff like titles, short paragraphs, adding keywords to slugs or titles, in content, etc. You do not need plugins.

But he is expecting it without a plugin. So, I suppose being knowledgeable about SEO is enough to optimize it without a plugin. A plugin just helps you remember what you missed, and sometimes they exaggerate the optimization as well.

A friend of mine use wordpress since the last three years for local site he ranks relative good, it's a small site with 3 pages, flat easy structure.
When he check with the limited free seobility tool he get a score of 49% .....yep I think these tools give you bad score, because they want sell their services- right? For his site he schould improve site quality and structure, I don't know what this exactly means ? OK his 3 page wp site is build with elementor so he has a lot of elementor scripts loaded.

How do you guys improve your wp site quality and structure ?
Then he has another small 3 page website , he hosted on ionos, with the ionos website builder and says the seo score of the ionos website builder site is much better vs his wordpress site.

I have no glue why the ionos website builder should give you a better seo score of the site quality and structure ?
Do you guys have seo experience with the ionos website builder ?
