is there a wordpress plugin that can show real time stock availablity . i mean i have a friend who wants to show list of food items sold and available in his hotel. is it possible ?

What Ecommerce plugin are you using? You can use Woo Custom Stock Status. It is a quick and easy to let your customers know about the status of its stock. It is also very much compatible with the latest version of Wordpress. It also has excellent support.
