Hi there, i am a professional web developer with a lot of real-world experience.

I really hate Envato Marketplace, they take too much money as fees. Of course, I want to sell my products. But no more with Envato. Can you suggest me a good way to sell products online?

I learned a lot of things from here and I want to contribute here. But i am confused about what type of website i should make and give you guys for free. I know WordPress is super hot at the moment but its very slow comparing with latest web development technologies.

Can you please help me to pick up the right one that will be usefull for you?

Advertise on BHW
Most people know the basics about WP, such as how to add SSLs, add content etc etc and make changes as and when required.

Is it as easy to do all these with Laravel?
 
Laravel by a mileeeeeeeeee.. Laravel is freaking amazing if you know your way around coding.

But it is not the general audience here. Personally I like laravel. But if you were to create tutorials for public. No one would read here if it was for laravel. Sooo...
 
If you are a developer and know a little bit of PHP then your first choice is Laravel.
 
I prefer Yii2 framework but Laravel is equally badass. If you want to make a site to just show off your skills, by all means; go with Laravel. WP is for noobs :D
 
I personally prefer the WordPress platform. I think with the right plugins and code optimization, you can create some fast and responsive sites.

However, I've not personally tried Laravel so...

Not sure about laravel but there's more than one for Yii2. For example:

What do you mean by making a website and giving away for the members?

Wordpress is a CMS and Laravel is a framework. I wouldnt really reinvent the wheel using Laravel if content management is your aim.

I use Laravel/Lumen currently for a project that I am doing. But if I wanted a CMS, I would just use wordpress.

I am failing to understand your question properly.

No it's not an easy task in Laravel, you need a developer to do it for you. But if you look into performance its quite poor using WordPress

Wordpress is a Content Management System (software) (written in PHP and connected with MySQL/MariaDB database) and Laravel is a PHP framework. 2 different things. Making such a comparison is not logical at all.
 
Build small/medium WordPress plugins, that makes a diffrerence for people, smart, well coded plugins, and you will make great money outside of CodeCanyon.

Like what Brian is doing with his plugins, market them with affiliates.

Good luck, we need more great coders, that make great & well coded plugins in the WordPress community.

If the script that you wanna make is UNIQUE, then go with Laravel but if WordPress can handle it natively then you better go with WordPress since 90% of BHW members knows how to deal with WordPress :)
 
I would go on the custom script all day long if I was not semi-retard to use Wordpress since forever, but I am.
 
You are right, they so get alot from the cake. But, i was in position to buy your latest product that you shared with us for free, i would most likelly slap you with a refund. Get your wuality Up. The demand is huge for both. If the product is good you will sell it.
